Oh sweet so we’re bringing in an OC to interview who can’t adjust mid game. Like the thing we were historically bad at this past season. rhule will probably pick someone he thinks he can just get along with and won’t threaten his power. So this guy would be perfect.

I still don’t think it was a bad trade. It just feels worse because we gave up a 2nd rounder for Darnold so it compounds the frustrations with lack of picks next year to help fix this team. Cj is freakishly talented but needs quality coaching and time to grow. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like he’s gonna get that here. If a cj type prospect were available in the 3rd most would say that was a great value pick. If we had a second and drafted back to back oline and cj in the third most would say that’s a good draft.

Who knows. Maybe Scott is involved as well.

Read some rumblings that he doesn’t wanna get boxed in and he might be putting out feelers for other coaches. If it’s a lateral move he’ll stick with rhule, if there’s someone better he’ll move on kind of thing. “Fluid situation.” I’m not getting my hopes up tho

I’m hoping pep says no tbh. Let him roll with Nixon as his OC or maybe Tepper will fire him if he doesn’t get pep. Remember Rhule has to sell to these coaches more so than they have to for him because this is an absolute poo show right now and everyone knows it.

This board is extremely reactionary but like I don’t really understand what Tepper is trying to do here. I’m not mad or upset I’m just like whatever. I don’t live in NC anymore so it means nothing to me for the franchise to move besides nostalgia. Tons of real world things to be mad about. But this is a full on mutiny of the fanbase and he knows this. This isn’t some shade of grey thing it’s very cut and dry. Rhule isn’t an nfl caliber coach. So what is his long play here? Turn your back on the fanbase to help facilitate a move to another location? I heard he wanted a new stadium. So is he gonna use that as leverage to move?

Just stop caring. No need to get angry or put any energy towards a football team. Become a general nfl fan until there is reason to start caring. Lots of good playoff teams this year should be great to watch. Lots of great young qbs coming up. And when rhule is fired give it two years for the next staff. If they suck too just pick a new franchise.

Uh people can talk about coaching mistakes. And long lists of coaching mistakes as reasons for rhule needing to go. Some posters here are over the top. Calling rhule fat and all that. That’s not me. I’m not upset. stating it’s a stupid coaching decision amongst many different coaching decisions is fair. Many people were talking about it in the game day thread when rhule talked to the reporter. You can be above it all and stick to the draft subforum.

The point is Matt rhule is trying to win the game and chose Darnold over the greatest goal line threats of all time. That’s the problem. Cam also poses a better threat if you wanted to do play action. It’s incompetence. If he didn’t want to win then he did a good job but he obviously wanted to win.

The I’m back cardinals game was incredibly fun and even the wft game he had some great moments. I hope whatever cam decides to do he has success. My favorite player of all time.
