i also kind of get the sense that we would have locked him up for 2 years in 2013 but we were so cap strapped we couldn't make it happen. he was always a legit returnman and that position is crucial.

apparently some people only see 0 tds when he was here and not the amazing field position he put us in time and time again. That is super valuable. this is a VERY large upgrade to ST. he posted his worst totals of his career last year and it was still a billion times better than us.

that is obviously the case for ginn right now with him signing. i just thought he would want to wrap up his career with his hometown team and best friend. glad he decided otherwise.

yea people have selective memories. he made some big time 3rd down catches for us last year. Our coaching staff needs to put players in positions to where they can be the most effective. Sometimes it's not their fault with the lack of talent we had last year.

most d-lineman need help from others. just the nature of the game. and ron even said that it took like 4 or 5 games for his teammates to realize that hardy wasn't coming back (it was that stretch where we flat out sucked). I think he meant a great deal to this defense. Good news! we came together at the end without him and played some of that dominant football that we were accustomed to in 2013. Kony Ealy stepped up big time, KK stepped up big time, CJ stepped up big time. and Star stepped up big time. Made luke and TDs life easier.

He probably would not have gotten 15 sacks but who knows doesn't really matter. the thing with Hardy. His talent is on the rise. I'm not gonna believe this kid is going to be the same type of player for us as hardy simply because the eye test doesn't donit for me. Not saying he couldn't help us, I think he could. I think people genuinely forget how much of a monster he was. He was damn near everywhere on the field. He was dominant in run support, rushing the passer and he never ever gave up. Other players fed off his craziness. That's the type of defensive end we want and that's rare. Too bad he is a fugtard off the field.

Not saying Morgan wouldn't be great for the cost. But you are downplaying hardy like a mofo to justify something. Hardy's combination of size, speed and quickness is extremely rare. It's up there but not quite at the level of peppers. He has the amazing versatility of playing anywhere on the line and even dropping back into coverage. You talk about trash OTs. You're going to have to break down sacks for elite defensive lineman like jj watt (plays in a shitty division). Even when he's not getting sacks he is an absolute beast in the run game and pressures the qb like an elite player. He's all over the damn field. Hardy is a big time player. You don't need to diminish him to make your argument.

this is so hurney it's not even comical anymore we've been through what they're going through right now. difference is we drafted two major fuging superstars at key positions while they are aging. Loomis doesn't even care at this point. just try and keep some core people together and hope for better results even if it fugs your future. this is like a dumb bitch with a credit card that says poo ill just buy all this poo today so i look good even if i have to eat top roman for a month later.
