I think the hype comes from Rhule. He is a big time talker. Like way more so than the average coach imo. I do think this draft has a lot of potential to be great but we have no idea really.

Cam and Greg aren’t representative of this team. Cam and Greg had four years before 2015 to build that trust and relationship on the field. Darnold is new, with new weapons, new system, and has not been good for his previous 3 years. Bringing cam and Greg up makes absolutely no sense in this context and takes away what people who want this iteration of the team to get game reps together to start building those relationships. The preseason should matter for this specific team. I’m actually fine with keeping Burns and Chinn off the field on defense until the final preseason game. Jaycee needs work. Offense needs a ton of work though.

And the offensive line. I already said cmc is the only player I would sit. You can downplay this all you want but the fact Cam played an entire half and Darnold might not play at all is concerning especially with all the other variables in there about him and this being a new system and new team. Get these guys use to playing in games with each other. Darnold is not the same player as Cam. He needs work. What rhule is doing is very abnormal. Hope it works out but if we come out looking sloppy as hell against the shithole jets you guys will just blame it on something else.

Not really. Comparing the Patriots organization who has won multiple super bowls and the 2015 panthers (who btw played their starters in preseason games) to the youngest squad in the nfl with a brand new qb learning a new system and who has struggled mightily in his first 3 years is the real hoot. The correct logic is these guys need real game day reps to continue to try to work the kinks out and gel. Padded practice scrimmages are different then live game day reps. This isn’t rocket science. The only starter who should sit is cmc.

Am I misremembering or did we not have starters play in the preseason a bunch in 2015? The only starter I would sit is cmc. That’s it.

We aren’t the Patriots. We’re the youngest team in the league with a new qb who has been a bust so far. We need these reps.

Play the starters first half Saturday then play them a half and one or two series into the 3rd quarter against the Steelers. we are sloppy and look like poo. In game reps, even in preseason is a lot different then practice.

Saw Chris when Jason Isbell opened up for him in Maryland awhile ago. He’s better live than recordings. Incredible voice. I’d add Orville peck to the country list and I never see him mentioned probably because he’s openly gay and has drag queens open up for him on his tours. He has an amazing voice and is extremely talented. Sounds like Roy Orbison. covers Reba here he was a drummer in a pretty famous punk band in Canada. Very talented guy. Love his albums.

Please just move Moton to the left and let Brady take his lumps on the right. Moton gets a million dollar bonus for playing left a certain amount of games and he seems to be kind of wanting to do it. Just do it already. Erving is a backup. If Brady struggles so bad that it’s costing us games then switch it up. Having Moton lock down LT would be such a huge step forward for this franchise. RT’s are easier to find then LTs and we can see what we have with Brady and see if he grows as the season goes on. He’s smart and athletic. Imagine if they both play well and we’re set on tackles by the end of the year. Then we can focus on guards next year unless someone steps up there like deonte. Would be so huge for us at stabilizing this line.

Not sure but he’s been flying all over the field. He’s on a different level then what’s been around him.

Kenny Robinson needs to play with the 1s and 2s and see how he does.
