Sure it seems to be the case but it’s wrong. Fitterer also comes from Seattle and they have a horrible record of addressing the oline. To the point where RW wanted out. This is exactly why I don’t like it. I mean it’s not horrible or crippling but we really need to address this oline. It would’ve been nice to use that money there instead of Robby when we have cmc, DJ and two extremely promising rookies in shi and terrace for next year. We are absolutely stacked with weapons. Everyone bitches about the oline but then we drop 20 million in gauranteed to a wr. im guessing we’re still signing DJ. But if we don’t because of this it’s an absolutely horrendous signing.

Rhule said something in that camp confidential episode in that he’s going against sports science to rest, rest, rest and is harping on conditioning this camp and preseason because he wants to be the best conditioned team to get an advantage over others at the beginning of the season. I have no idea what that has to do with not playing starters in the preseason. I think game conditioning is different then conditioning workouts. He was talking about getting the metabolics on and running the poo out of them.

The bottom line is if rhule doesn’t find a franchise qb quick he’s gone. And Scott might be with him too. I think it was a mistake to not play Darnold but whatever. I said before I’d give rhule 2 years after this season. He needs to be gone if he cant. This isn’t college. The 2 players better than one thing was so dumb. You need a game changing qb to win consistently. So far cutting cam, signing bridgewater and then trading a second for the worst ranked qb in the league is not cutting it. I hope Darnold works out strictly as a fan because I wanna see this team win and have fun. if some of y’all would take a step back from your panthers fandom you would be laughing your ass off if another coach did this on another team.

Well see how much the contracts are but it’s not smart signing two big contracts to wrs. Especially with us just drafting terrace who is gonna be an impact player early. We have a lot of decisions to make down the road. Hope they have a good plan.

I mean we have no choice but to be all in. The good news is he oozes potential that hasn’t been realized. If this staff can get him under control with the mental lapses he can be a very good qb. He’s got the arm, the mobility and the toughness. He just has to put it all together. the bad news is it’s not likely to happen lol

Fields is gonna be good. We’ll regret it ONLY if Darnold sucks and we can’t find a franchise qb in the next 2 years after this season.

I can think of like 5 plays off the top of my head where Teddy fuged up in the red zone that had nothing to do with Brady. brady needs to get better situationally but I think that’ll come with more experience. He has a great scheme that is qb friendly. Hopefully Darnold excels in it. We have the weapons and a qb that can stretch the field. Hopefully it works.
