I said in the game day thread Thursday that might’ve been moton’s worst game of his career.

My fear is dak is gonna dink and dunk all over us down the field to stop all the pressure. Cowboys also have a very effective screen game with all pro lineman. And now that horn is out our corners are gonna have to tighten up big time. I’m wondering if we’re gonna start playing more zone with the loss of horn unless Henderson can get up to speed quickly and is effective and healthy. this is going to be a big time test for our defense. Offensively, Micah is getting moved all around the field. So he’ll be someone our oline needs to keep an eye on. They’ve got talent on D but I think we can still move the ball effectively.

If the rumors are true that we were looking at Henderson in training camp it’s highly likely we kept as many te’s as we did in season for this opportunity. Jags were trying to sign Arnold in the offseason. I remember myself and some posters thinking it was weird we didn’t cut Ian. This was probably why. Tremble must’ve shown they feel comfortable with him in an expanded role to pull the trigger on this deal. Arnold is a solid player but is an atrocious blocker. We need a guy who can do both. Seems the staff is super high on tremble calling him this years Jeremy Chinn. perryman looked like he thought he could just miss practices and be the starter over Carter. Can’t play on this team if you don’t practice it looks like.

I don’t think any big time talent is gonna be had in a trade this year for the oline. The hope is Brady and donte get up to speed and can contribute and we can see an oline that gels and is adequate. We’re just looking for adequate at this point. If we make the playoffs this year we are a year or two ahead of schedule. I thought year 4 would be the year with year 3 being a hot seat for Rhule if he didn’t get us a wildcard spot. I want to see what those two rookies have this year so we know what we got moving forward for next years draft and FA. My hope is fitts doesn’t follow the Seattle method where they patch the oline together year after year. There’s some logic behind it with RW being extremely mobile and using resources in other ways but Sam isn’t as mobile and needs plus protection. Brady’s system helps but it would be nice to have an elite oline.

Tbf they could only zoom call prospects that year. No face to face meetings. I think cj just wanted out of Jacksonville tho. And I’m a big proponent of players using their leverage to get out of shitty situations. It’s their work environment and careers.

All three can which is crazy. You can literally just pick which cb matches up better on what receiver. We’re playing man straight up. When we drafted jaycee I thought it would still take us a year or two to get to this. But this was the direction we obviously wanted to go.

He didn’t want to play in Jacksonville and was fairly open about that on social media. Jax fans called him a head case but a couple interjected that none of their talented players want to stay there because management is so bad. He took some personal days at camp that raised eyebrows and questions about if he wanted to play there. him and jaycee are similar prospects and I’m pretty sure rhule wanted to trade back for him last year until Hurney went with brown. Super talented player who has flashed and is young. There is a risk but I like the move for only a 3rd and Arnold. It was a good move imo.

This isn’t just a right now move, it’s a future move. Two extremely talented 1st round picks with 5th year options. Add in djax (who I hope we resign)and just pick what cb matches up with what receiver on the field. henderson horn djax chinn that’s the new legion of boom

There’s this weird thing that huddlers do where they think a prospect would look the exact same under a different system. I can’t stress enough how bad that bears coach is. I live around their fans. They HATE him. We have one of the most qb friendly systems in the league. Fields would not look like this with competent coaching and a system that fits his skill set. He’d still make rookie mistakes and all of that but it wouldn’t be this bad. it’s also weird that the same posters ragging on fields but also championed the Darnold move who was literally in the same situation fields and Wilson find themselves in. Coaching matters, systems matter. You should know this by how night and day Darnold has looked switching systems and teams.

Jets are melting down

5 times he’s hit receivers right in the hands for drops. His last pick it hit the receiver right in the hands. Zach has looked like a rookie but you can see all that potential every game. There is nobody around him. I know he’d never do this but I’d be serious about requesting a trade if I was in his shoes. That jets org is fuged.

Wilson looking much better this week. This is what they should’ve been doing from the beginning of the season. Quick passes, run the ball get him in rhythm. Great 3rd down off platform throw that Davis dropped but it hit him in the hands. bridgewater is so boring.

I know you’re pissed that it looks like Cam should’ve been kept over “the most pro ready qb prospect in the draft.” Mac Jones sucks as an nfl prospect. 3rd round and later type prospect. Bill deserves this tho

No bears need to fire that staff and bring in someone to work with fields.

Mac isn’t what this game shows today but Mac is gonna need YAC monsters to do anything in this league. He’s a Teddy bridgewater type of player. And he landed in one of the best spots. fields on the other hand landed in a terrible spot but has all the talent in the world.

Won’t know about fields for a couple of years. I think it’s pretty safe to assume a qb like Mac is already maxed out. Fields has room to grow.
