It’s not at this point yet and the coaches have said that was a long term deal and I believe it. Teams don’t give up top talent like that for a 3rd rounder. There were gonna be issues. He also didn’t like that coaching staff. We have cj for 2 more years and a 5th year option if we want him. Still plenty of time to see if this works out.

I didn’t say they did. But rhule was here in January when cmc signed that contract in April and then fitterer restructured his contract. we are a poorly run team.

If we wanted to trade cmc the time to do it was after his 1k 1k season where I could see a team giving up a 1st. Instead we gave him the highest rb contract in history and he’s played like 5 games since then.

Nobody is trading a first for cmc regardless if he comes back next year and plays 17 games. We are one of the few nfl teams that still drafts rbs in the top 10. The other team off the top of my head is the giants and look at Barkley. We are a poorly run franchise. Nfl teams do not value rbs like that. Add in injury history and we would be lucky to get a 2nd from a team.

He had a big jump in noticeable muscle mass from years 1&2 to 3. Like everyone was talking about it lol. More than a traditional nfl workout regimen. His brother got busted twice and suspended twice in the nfl for performance enhancing drugs. He keeps getting these injuries. My guess is he’s juicing in the off-season then going off them to avoid drug tests. I played college ball and knew guys who juiced and it kind of fits. Just a guess though.

Except none of those are sure things. We could easily draft a bust QB or LT. Those positions have some of the highest bust rates. Watson is a known top 5 talent. Cmc is as close to washed as we’re gonna see. If we trade him that’s gonna open up the cap for us to land known talents on the offensive line. I honestly can’t believe HOU is interested in an oft injured extremely expensive runningback. We would be fuging lucky to trade him.

We should definitely be looking at offloading some corners for picks. I think donte could get a 2nd or 3rd for a playoff needy team.

It’s a combo of football dumb and processing but those overlap quite a bit. In year four you should be recognizing easy defensive concepts presnap and know where the ball should go. In that video Simms was pretty clear that he has no clue what he’s doing. Day 1 concepts that SEVERELY limit what Brady can do. Yes Brady has some bad calls, every single OC does. It is severely overblown on this forum. But you add in the fact Sam barely knows easy concepts (I honestly don’t know how this is even possible in year 4 of his career) and how limiting that is to Brady to open the playbook to not be repetitive.

call up James Morgan from the PS and see what he can do lol. In all seriousness I hope rhule does take over playcalling so he can see up close and personal how much Darnold fuging sucks and wallow in that exactly how Brady has had to wallow in their past 2 qbs. If I were Brady I’d be getting out of this org ASAP before they try to ruin my reputation.

No OC in the league could make this work. I had issues with some of Brady’s situational playcalling but he is scheming people open on a regular basis. everything that a certain segment of this fanbase said cam was; inaccurate and dumb is actually what Darnold is. He is without a doubt the dumbest qb in the league.

I think if the defenses just straight up lays down. The offense is what it is because of a talent issue. But if the defense just looks uninspired that’s a problem.

By the time we correct this (if we do at all) all our young players will be looking for their 2nd contracts. You have windows for this. That’s why I was so big on the Watson trade. This defense could be so nasty if we had at the very least a competent offense who could keep them fresh or keep us in the game whenever the defense had a bad game (which happens) Watson would change everything. Yes, even the oline. Elite qb play masks deficiencies.

We don’t have a second or third round pick this upcoming draft. This poo is bleak because this is what qb purgatory is. Remember everyone laughing at the browns all those years? We’re the browns now. There was a segment of this fanbase that were literally happy when cam got cut. And we told them it could be a decade before we find a franchise qb. We’re now gonna be going into year 3 hoping we land somebody that can change the course of this franchise... the hardest position to find the guy is qb. I totally get people saying this is the bleakest time in the franchise. But trust that it can get a whole lot worse lol. I’ll just laugh at all the losers posting about giving Darnold a second season or maybe we should trade for minshew or tua.

Miami has just as bad of an oline or worse. Miami has one win. One. Anyone looking at this team knows we have a great defense and weapons. We are an extremely talented team with more talent then Miami and he chose Miami lol.

Rodgers isn’t coming here. That’s two elite qbs who straight up said no to us. We’re gonna have to draft a qb and this fanbase should be very very concerned about this staff picking the right one with Teddy and Darnold being their choices in the past. some of us told y’all who were celebrating cutting cam that we could be in qb hell for a decade.

He gets happy feet in clean pockets that is the bigger issue. He’s the worst quarterback over the past 4 years in clean pockets. He’s missing wide open receivers that are schemed open. Just last game he threw into quadruple coverage when there was a wide open DJ in the end zone. This isn’t an anomaly. He consistently does this. He is the worst starting qb in the league.

We might have the dumbest fanbase in the league.
