It’s stupid and I think both cardinals org and fans are both concerned about it. Athleticism and arm talent only gets you so far. Hopefully this last playoff game was a wake up call for him because he has all the talent in the world to be a top 5 qb in the nfl.

There were rumors at Oklahoma that he played video games while teammates broke down tape. I have no idea if that’s true but it’s been put out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he moves to baseball tbh.

Kyler has said he doesn’t watch a lot of film. Just goes out and wings it within the game plan. That’s a huge red flag.

Yeah I’m checked out from this org. I’ll keep an eye out to see what happens but there are so many fun teams to watch in this league and I’m not missing good games because this org can’t do basic things.

Trey Lance is a better prospect than Pickett. Nobody is trading the farm for Pickett or I’ll be shocked if they do. I’d say willis and Trey are similar prospects except Trey is more prototype size at 6’4” 225lbs while Willis is 6 foot 220lbs. Both have accuracy issues but big arms and are mobile. Trey is more of a bruiser while Willis is more shifty. I don’t see anyone trading the farm for Willis because of his size.

Saying you need solid corners isn’t the same as investing a top ten pick in the position. You can get solid corners elsewhere when you are a rebuilding team. Quarterback and the offensive line should be the absolute main priorities. I was like you. I thought we were building some sort of legion of boom. After watching the past couple of seasons it’s obvious you just can’t build teams like that anymore. This is an offense driven league; the rule changes and the emphasis on safety have made it so.

I love jaycee and think he’s gonna be a beast but I don’t believe in building teams with top ten corner picks. I could see it if we were already an established team who had an off year. But these are building block picks right now. Need a qb, LT and pass rusher. We have 1 of those. Top ten corner picks on rebuilding teams are luxury picks imo.

Yeah I’m not arguing against that. Just arguing against that he’s not HC material. He definitely is and has shown he can bring a team to a Super Bowl and has had success. The Bucs situation was weird. They were trending up and drafted a franchise qb #1 overall and made a 4 win jump that year. You can argue jameis isn’t a franchise qb but they didn’t know that at the time. Usually teams let that play out with the same HC who just started there.
