It could be to get NO to give up more so HOU accepts. We have the best offer. HOU wants him to take ours but he’d rather go to NO but their offer isn’t good enough for HOU? It’s the only thing I can think of that makes any tiny bit of sense. But even that doesn’t make total sense. Idk.

These reactions are what the Texans are hoping happens with Tepper to give up more. Falcons benefit from this as well. All these teams talk and feed info to reporters. if DW actually wants to go to Atlanta then good luck to him because they are surprisingly worse than us.

This is actually hilarious. These nfcs teams are terrified about us landing him. Just further confirmation it’s good we’re going after him. they want us to give up more assets to make it harder for us to build more. Tepper should remain firm on the offer.

The only people questioning her are the ones who don’t want this deal done. She’s been too right on multiple things over the years to think she’s even remotely lying. And she never frames things as certainties. But she gives scoops before even media outlets do.

I don’t think it’s a guarantee. But most de’s/olbs turn it on in their 4th or 5th year. I get people saying he’s suspect against the run. But he does have von Miller type potential. I see no way we have the best package and he’s not included.

Chinns positional value just isn’t there. Burns is the one that will hurt the most imo. People forget he just finished his 3rd year. For his position he has so much room to grow.

Yeah I know. These guys are Uber competitive and the goal is the Super Bowl for all of them. The afc is stacked with elite qbs or qbs who are trending towards elite way, way more than the nfc. Nfc is just not even close right now.

For sure. But he could literally just waive his ntc to the browns. That would force Texans to either sit him another year or give in. Texans have to want this to be over asap.

Herbert too. I mean obviously the nfc could change with good qbs coming in but I dunno. That’s something he definitely should be thinking about.

The only thing I can say about Cleveland is that he’d have to deal with Allen and Mahomes in the playoffs to get to a Super Bowl. That is fuging hard. Nfc is more wide open with the superstar qbs aging out. Also I doubt the Texans want him in the afc but I’m not sure what they can do. Could threaten to sit him another year but I doubt they do that.

Cleveland has been the worry for a small group of people here. People can laugh all they want about the location but they have a good coach, good oline and good defense.
