I mean I was pretty adamant if we went qb at 6 it needed to be Malik over the rest of the qbs but zappe getting drafted before Howell is legit insane and doesn’t make any sense. Weird draft.

It’s not just mock drafts. Zappe doesn’t have an nfl arm. Howell does. Jokes aside it’s just shocking.

I know it gets talked about a lot but his quick release is the most excited I am about his game. And the ball explodes out of his hand. Corral has a ton of work to do coming from an RPO based system and who knows if he will translate but the good ones have that. Rodgers comes to mind. Gonna be interesting to see him play in preseason.

We’re not competing with Sam Darnold starting. I’d throw corral out there at the midway point to see what he has and if he improves up until the last game. Sam is fuging terrible and will still be terrible with a decent oline. Give corral some starts and see what happens. Maybe he surprises or we try drafting another qb next year with a higher pick.

He does need work on his deep ball but then I see 70 yard bombs like this and go hmm 6:26 he’s obviously got some big time arm talent and a crazy quick release. He’s gonna need some time in a pro style offense but one of my biggest worries about him is he is reckless running the ball. He needs to be coached out of that or he’s gonna get killed.

yeah people don’t wanna talk about this but cross was the pass pro technician and this is a passing league so if we had to go LT then I would’ve preferred the better pass pro prospect for the next decade. Icky is super talented and it doesn’t mean he can’t get better at pass pro but the panthers continue to build this team like it’s still the 80s.
