I wanna tank but it’s hard not rooting for coach wilks. I know cardinals fans think he was the worst coach ever but I’m not even sure how you can evaluate a coach after 1 season with Josh fuging Rosen as your qb and all the veteran losses they had after a mediocre 8-8 year and Carson Palmer retiring. That was a rebuilding team. He was never given a chance. And he wanted to draft Allen. If he was given 3 years which is generally acceptable with Allen he might’ve made something out there. That said this team is not good. We have no qb. We might see some marginally better play but we’re still bad.

He’ll be an all pro sooner rather than later

Fields looked good last Sunday. He’s on a really bad team that is going to be upgraded soon. Gotta give him time. he had something like 285 total yards and 1 td and another long td run that was called back. I think he’s gonna work out in the long run. This is basically his first year with a solid coach.

Hiring Quinn is just basic competency. I’m not even that mad that Tepper hired rhule. The contract is his money so idc. what I care about is he wasted this season when it was obvious rhule was not the guy last year. Taking shots/risks are fine. Quinn is not a risk. Which I think is going to be desirable to Tepper after rhule.

Flores is a great coach but he has issues finding offensive coaches that work and that’s a worry. I wouldn’t be upset if we hired him though. He just has to get the offensive coach right. he wanted Herbert over Tua btw.

Cam had 2 weeks. Literally played 4 days after he got here. baker had all training camp and preseason. It’s not even remotely the same.

Mcadoo has had success with ranking qbs in the past. He’s just not good as an OC. corral probably won’t ever get a chance. He was doomed the moment he was drafted here and rhule’s 2 snaps a practice then throwing him to the wolves behind players who aren’t even in the nfl anymore cemented it.

I’d trade cmc and burns. I’d keep dj for the young qb we theoretically will pick top 3.
