I wasted 30 min watching. It’s what you would expect. Blames covid since he’s more of a rah rah guy instead of X’s and O’s it was hard for him the first year and some of the second. Doubling down that what he does works. Thinks what he does would’ve worked eventually but understands he had to win quicker. Mentioned our record in the NFCS. Said he’ll learn from this experience in whatever level he’s coaching in he’ll use it to be better. Mentioned high school coaching a lot so I have no idea if that means he’s not getting a lot of calls.

Look at what Cam did at auburn and then tell me Levis just isn’t surrounded by enough talent. I was ok with drafting Levis up until he absolutely bombed. He has the tools but he has looked BAD. I’d take Anthony Richardson as a raw prospect over him at this point.

It’s the same thing we heard with Cam. Puts up great numbers and plays really well but he’s not winning because the team around him wasn’t very good. And fields has a worse team around him then cam did his first couple of years. There were people on this site questioning if he was actually a franchise qb (he always was from day 1) after his second season.

It would’ve been similar to what he was drafted into with Nagy. All qb prospects have flaws. Trading for Darnold wouldn’t have stung as much if we drafted fields along with that. It was a mistake to not draft him. The ones who didn’t want him will continue to move the goalposts. Fields is on an upward trajectory and he IS their offense, the bears are gonna have a top 5-7 pick with insane amounts of cap space. This was essentially his first year and he’s doing these things already.

Only on the condition that we draft a qb. Like if we traded for Carr than drafted Anthony Richardson to sit and develop. If Carr is just the plan then no.
