That was me and I wanna be 100% clear, as I stated in that post, that it was a rumor not a fact. And i read that at the time of the trade, not recently.
-
I haven’t seen posts that said these women should’ve been expecting this but I haven’t read every post on here.

He’s being accused of rape now. This is more than a shakedown if the allegations are not true.
-
That’s a wrap

This is a panthers football forum dude. And this affects the panthers considering for months it’s been talked about we are actively trying to trade for him. Should we just not discuss how that would affect a trade? people that jump to conclusions and accuse the victims of lying immediately are poo heads. The majority of what I’ve seen (including what I’ve posted) are people talking poo about the lawyer and how erratic he is and others saying they will wait to pass judgement until more things are clear. Innocent until proven guilty type of mentality.
-
Maybe things become more clear before the draft but that just doesn’t seem likely.
-
It’s not that. The nfl will do an investigation and who knows what they would find or do. Just more risk on top of giving up all the draft capital.

Some weird things about this. 1st the lawyer posting this on IG and his erratic behavior. 2nd after deshaun’s response about money grabs now the lawyer is saying they’re only seeking 500 dollars for each plaintiff because this is not about money but the truth, this after the first six figure suit. ive read some rumors, just rumors not facts. That Easterby was behind trading deandre because he was a bad influence on deshaun with women. That deshaun’s mom went to him with complaints. this is a mess and I don’t think it’s gonna clear up anytime before the draft which means we should move forward with trying to secure a franchise qb in the draft. Cant try trading for him unless we are 100% sure he is innocent. Too much at stake.

I’m happy for him but it’s funny he’s playing for Ron again. I mean if that was the largest deal good for him. He worked his ass off and went through some weird health poo. anyone know about that receiver in North Texas? Jaelon Darden. What round is he projected to go in? I hope we target more oline in the draft but I would draft this dude if he’s available in the 3rd or 4th round.

Six sacks last year

Now that lawyer is posting on Ig saying four women are coming forward. Yikes.

Those need to be done for sure. I thought I read we’d be something crazy like 100 million in cap space. I realize that’s gonna get ate up by some of our own players who need to be resigned. I think we need to look at guards in rounds 3/4. We can find some good ones there. Maybe make one splash lineman signing next offseason. Preferably a tackle or center. If we keep our 2nd this year definitely go tackle if a good one is there. Just go ahead and quit being a fan already lol Yeah no way that will happen. I’m hoping we keep our 2nd this year and can snag a talented tackle this year. We’ll see.

Prolly if Curtis is gone. if we land Watson I want us to really focus on quality lineman both in the draft and FA. The cap explodes next year. We’re gonna have some space to make some moves, even with deshauns cap hit. Gotta protect this investment. Watson is so good that he can work with an average line, but I want to have an elite line for him.
-
Also deshaun will be a big time sell for FA’s to actually WANT to come here.
-
he flicks the ball 70 yards on one of these plays. Imagine DJ with this dude.

Chinn’s positional value holds no weight. If we got out with not trading our young dlineman we would be in great shape. Chinn is a baller and a future pro bowler. But dlineman are wayyyyy more valuable.
-
I’d part with Chinn if need be
-
If we get out of this without trading Burns or Brown it’s a win for me
-
The cap explodes to a projected 220 million in 2022. I’m not worried about his cap hits.

Report: The Panthers are "locked on Watson"
TheRumGone replied to MVPccaffrey's topic in Carolina Panthers
There needs to be a line we don’t cross. That’s up to the coaches and gm to decide what they think they can give up and still build a quality team around him.
