Uh did Rhule not leave halfway through his throwing session? If so that’s a huge sign we are not interested regardless of round.
-
Yup I’m not drafting a qb unless it’s in the first round.

Kyle Pitts as a WR/TE Good for Carolina ?

If all oline and QBs are gone I’d pick pitts over parsons. -
I’m not predicting anything. I’m reading this lawyer say things and then have to retract them. It’s not a good look.
-
We’ll see. This guy has said things publicly and retracted a handful of times already.

I’ve thought a lot about this. The only thing I can think of why the women wanted someone like him is he takes the spotlight off them. I can understand how some women who are traumatized by sexual assault would absolutely not want to be in the spotlight in a high profile case like this. And buzbee has certainly done that. But yeah at the same time he’s harming this case with his theatrics and baggage.
-
It’s what I’ve said from the beginning. You don’t continue with a lawyer that drunk posts your case at 11 pm on his personal social media. It’s totally disrespectful to these women. They need new representation ASAP.
-
So now they’re not sending info to the police? So not only did this dude forge text messages during his mayor run but he sent out anti trans mailers. Dude is a slime ball, giant piece of poo. These women need different representation because this dude is a liar and is muddying this all up.

What is with this fanbases obsession with devalued positions like linebacker and running back?

To Sign or not to Sign - Bridgewater vs Draft. DRAFT

Honestly if we can’t draft a qb I say just roll with teddy only because throwing draft capital at marginally better qbs is just a waste. Let this coaching staff deal with the guy they wanted here. -

No way I’m spending capital on a backup this draft when we don’t even have a franchise qb. It doesn’t matter right now imo. -

I said in 1-3 years while we build up the rest of the team if we miss out on a qb this year. This qb draft class is historic. 4 qbs that have franchise qb potential is extremely rare. That’s why most people are freaking out because you miss out on this and there’s a very good chance you don’t get one for the next 5 years. -

This is just wishful thinking though. I get the sentiment but the Tom Brady’s/RW’s of the league are rare. History shows you have to pick a qb in the first round to compete for titles. If we got lucky and found a franchise qb in any round outside the first we would be in incredible shape. It’s just very very rarely happens. I don’t think we should even waste a pick on a non first round qb at this point. -

At this point, unless something crazy happens in the draft with either fields or Lance dropping to us we’re looking at hopefully building up this team to legit Super Bowl contenders minus a qb and then doing what San Fran did in giving up a fugton of picks to secure the guy we think takes us over the hump in the next 1-3 seasons. the fear is definitely becoming the bears. -
Hopium - We might have a shot at Sewell
TheRumGone replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m all in on a QB over other positions but if we don’t draft one I’m ok with getting a franchise LT instead. The Browns never got a franchise qb until Mayfield. And that’s not from trying. They drafted so many qbs in the first round while Joe Thomas was there. Hopefully we are luckier. Hopefully Lance or Fields drops to us. Or we trade up to 6. -

Yeah I agree. He also doesn’t have the measurables you like to see in OT’s with his short arms but he is a really good player. Shut down chase young. -

Yeah my hope is if no qb then we get a top OT prospect in Sewell/Slater. I think realistically it would be slater. -
1 Absoulte Certainty: No Teddy 2021 (That is all at this point)
TheRumGone replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sometimes you have to strike when the iron is hot because 1. You don’t know when you’ll get a qb class this deep again and 2. You don’t know when you’ll pick in the top 10 again. There are franchises who have been stuck in qb purgatory for a decade. I do agree that some posters want instant gratification BUT one of the reasons I’m ok with giving up numerous 1st round picks is because this has been an unprecedented number of franchise caliber prospects + Watson before that mess. -

TheRumGone replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
He chokes in big time moments. But he does put his body on the line that we saw multiple times throughout last year. He’s not a little bitch. I guarantee you’d be a little bitch on that football field. hes annoying as a fan because you know he’s good enough to not get you a top qb prospect but bad enough that you aren’t going anywhere with him. Which is why myself and others were so goddamn pissed when we signed him. All that animosity needs to go towards this coaching staff, Marty and Tepper. Not teddy. -

This is one thing teddy is not. You don’t go through what he’s been through and be a bitch. I don’t want him to start here ever again but people need to calm down with this type of stuff. -
Zach Wilson is gonna be special if he doesn’t get destroyed behind a shitty line.
