It's possible his agent looks at our team and realizes we're a couple playmakers away from a legit team since the defense is for real. Even with Shula calling plays (gasp) we can do some damage. He'll probably have a larger role here too as a #1, because KB is not #1 material just yet. Sign him, draft a WR in the 1st/2nd still, sign Ginn or Jacoby and go in with a core of AJ/KB/draft pick/Philly/Ginn or Jones. Guess we're stuck with Cotchery as well.

Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Zaximus replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Those teams have good coaches and competent owners though. We have neither. -
Brian Hartline and Chris Canty to be released
Zaximus replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I could definitely see Canty coming in, I think he was close to signing with us a couple years ago if I remember but Ravens offered more money. Seems like a high character guy that does charity work down here, it makes sense. -
Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland
Zaximus replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes because the rest of us seen a very slow player that couldn't really catch the ball that well (and would make mistakes often as well). Bersin is not a returner and shouldn't be asked to. -
Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland
Zaximus replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah obviously he doesn't care about being on a winning team or being an actual WR. This is bad news, because if we don't land him or Jacoby we're back to the worse ST in the league. And before someone says "just draft someone" that is far from a proven science, if Joe Adams, Ryne Robinson, etc have proven. -
D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died
Zaximus replied to QCkilla's topic in Carolina Panthers
But yeah this was blown out of proportion to be honest. -

Such a cancer Hardy is for showing up to a team mates funeral when no one else did. -
Man, I've tried to forget the Diop years thanks for reminding me.

The Official General NBA Discussion Thread
Zaximus replied to Proudiddy's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Would LOVE to get Cousins. He has a fire in him to prove everyone wrong and he's been dominating. -
It's not fair to compare Hardy's case with any of those from last year. There wasn't a tape, photo evidence, nothing. She wouldn't even go to the hospital to get checked out. She wasn't even the one who called. She was on drugs at the time and wouldn't even show up for the trial. Does Hardy need better friends and judgement? Totally. But I'm not sure he's more guilty than she was, and at the end of the day, no one even really got hurt. They went their separate ways and that's that. It should be over. The trial was a joke and was only a thing because of some relection thing from the judge. If anything I hope the stupid rules/laws of NC about domestic violence and how unfair it is to males comes to light. I think the hit his market value took is enough of a punishment at this point.

You knew how this thread would go. This is a fanbase that anoints a player starting material immediately after one tackle or a catch in practice, so obviously we have tons of replacements for one of the best run and pass defenders in the league. Also, he's immediately guilty when accused, even though this state is a joke when it comes to these type of cases and it was basically NC's type of arraignment. Our fans turned on Hardy because the media did, they didn't turn on Smith because it wasn't a big thing, just more of media brain washing the masses. Our team is definitely hypocritical and as I mentioned in another thread, is why we'll always be mediocre while teams like the Patriots and others take chances on high talent guys with some issues.

When the whole nu-metal phase went out it seemed to take them down as well.

They can always have him going through an actual election. I don't think they really expected the show to be SO huge and last this long but they can come up with stuff. I see 5 seasons probably, which IMO is enough for most shows. More than 5 is usually pushing it for MOST shows like this.

haha wow, epic vdeo, and totally hard to hate Marshawn. Conan still kills it.

I know a lot of people are down on Torrey Smith, but I think he'd be perfect on the other side and keep defenses honest. Kenny Britt is a guy I'd take a chance on, he has abilities and finally looked to have his head on straight last year. Nicks could be a now-cheaper chance here too. I'd love to sign Torrey and also draft a WR, even potentially a first rounder depending on BPA that can hopefully return kicks as well.

I had to go with WoW / LoL. WoW has had around 10 million subs for close to 10 years, what game has that kind of longevity with that many players? LoL because it is the most played game in the WORLD, and also because they nailed the free to play model that is pretty much what everyone is trying to do now (most fail with pay-2-win though). Team Fortress 2 was probably the first f2p game that was successful money wise, but LoL took it to a whole new level. I don't even play LoL, and haven't played WoW in a long time but I can't deny.

Doesn't matter, you're one of probably 5 people there that have done that, not everyone wants to deal with that and gathering the fuel, Prius is the second best option for them. Just because they don't want to join the "annoying drivers" club (which is people that drive SUVs and big trucks to over-compensate and are the worst drivers on the road) shouldn't mean they are dumb or anything. Your truck is doing more harm to the roads than the Prius, therefore, you are also costing everyone else more money! lol.
-
That's not bad for them, considering they'll save hundreds more than you on gas over the year lol.

I love Breaking Bad, but I can't put it above The Wire. Yeah, Wire didn't have a "stand-out actor" but that is what makes it better, because you had handfuls of great characters and actors. You also have a show that changed up each year to a new subject matter and new actors, it was amazing, and I just don't think anything can touch it. For me, it's Wire > Breaking Bad > Sopranos > The Shield. Boardwalk Empire is gaining on The Shield though.
