  1. Tillman is better than Decoud, Cason, or Harper ever were. While Rivera/DG failed hard on those signings, this isn't a bad one.
  2. This show is great, and we can now see why he becomes Saul. His brother and his holier than thou speech, Jimmy ends up becoming the kind lf lawyer his brother hates, probably out of spite, strip mall office and all. Changes his name so no one knows that is his brother. Great performances and acting, some may think it's too slow but it's perfect, we need to see how he comes who he is.
  3. Right but if he's interested in padding stats, NO would be better. We'll see what decides.
  4. This is true, and we should be happy with back to backs, if for anything so we don't have to hear the statistic anymore about our division. However, we can't rest on our laurels and not continue to improve. I think some people are just a bit worried that our GM thinks Oher is an anwser, after he also thought Bell was an anwser last year (and Chandler). There IS cause to worry, and posters who do worry, shouldn't get trashed because of that (normal, sky isn't falling posts that is). Settling on Oher/Ginn is not correct, but we can have a more accurate discussion about things like this after the draft. No one can deny DG's success in the draft so far, so that is something to definitely be excited about (esp with another 5th and 6th pick). We should probably be more worried about Shula being around still, but that still falls back on DG a bit.
  5. True, but winning it with a losing record, to me at least, doesn't even feel like a win. We beat a team riddled with injuries and a terrible backup QB only to face the music after that, that we aren't ready for big time. We should be looking to compete with Seattle, not with teams like Tampa.
  6. Yes, and if you actually live in Charlotte, you should know this as well. It's a town that seems to be content on mediocrity. Just look at our coaching staff and the previous one. The fanbase just isn't there yet, but it's getting better. Winning three in a row (with a winning record this time) will help trmendously. This isn't just NFL either.
  7. I have faith in Gettleman, and it's too early to get really worried since we haven't even drafted, but to say Oher solved a problem is a bit of a reach considering he was barely better than Bell. Ginn filled the ST roll, but to say he's filled a "speed need" is a bit of a reach too. He had some success here, but he dropped a lot of deep balls and is getting older. The Dickson hype is unreal for a guy who had like 150 yards the entire season, I suppose we just remember that one game though. So to reiterate, I trust DG and will patiently wait, but it seems (as usual) this board seems content on settling for mediocrity. It seems winning the division with a losing record is the pinacle of our dreams on here. I'm hoping we get some gems in the draft and laugh at any doubts. I still think Jennings should be signed if reasonable and we should still draft a speed WR, because we're one Ginn injury away and one "Philly-deepball-catch-ouch-my-shoulder-hurts-again" away from being super slow.
  8. This would be great. He seems like a Gettleman type of guy too. Great team guy. I'd still like to draft a WR in the first or 2nd (depending on which OTs are around in the 1st).
  9. He is only on this team because he is richardsons neighbor and went to same tiny college. He wouldn't be on any other roster most likely. That is why.
  10. But in seriousness.... transformers falling to earth
  11. Haha I'm so happy you guys jumped on that title, I'd be disappointed if not. Well done.
  12. I'm not exactly sure the name of the refigerator, but you can probably get a whirlpool for that if the people are moving and don't to take it with them long distance. I'm guessing $75, 35 guarenteed, 10 signing bonus? Not bad for a refrigerator that can block, no ice maker though.
  13. He brought them in, but they didn't realize what they had till everyone got hurt and they had no options left (minus Turner). But he did bring them in, just didn't realize their potential. But some of that could be Rivera.
  14. There is absolutely no excuse for him thinking Bell could play LT and protect our franchise QB after he was so terrible the year before. But he's left handed! Go ahead and defend him though, blindly. He had a great draft last year, no joke, but he was completely wrong when it came to our offensive line last offseason. They could have signed a refridgerator off craigslist for $75 that could have blocked better than Bell, and guess what? 99% of this board KNEW Bell and Chandler would be terrible, but yet our expert talent scout didn't know? Oher could work out, but still need to draft. Hopefully he isn't just "ok" going with Oher like last year with Bell.
  15. Yeah, the guy who thought Bell/Chandler would be fine for us on the o-line. May pan out but yeah.
  16. I'm happy we're finally looking into options, but I'm not sure Crabtree or anyone left really fills out need (for speed, lol).
  17. Please don't try. Posts like this is worse than complaining posts. Homers and head in the sand users are just as bad on an extreme side of things.
  18. No more possession receivers man. That is why we sucked last year early. We need SPEED. Unfortunately, we lost out on the best speed guy or didn't try (more likely). Now it's posession receivers and low tier guys left mostly.
  19. He "could" be. Smith is more proven as a burner and more dependable (still has some issues though). You get someone that is more of a sure thing here and THEN draft for someone. I will admit, the only thing I don't like about the Torrey Smith deal is 5 years, if we did it I'd rather 3 or 4, plan it so KB is up for extension when it's ending.
  20. Actually, it did. He had over 900 yards and like 5 td's. Perfect numbers for a #2. Bad example. Better example would be Wahle.
  21. I don't think he would be 90%, but nice try. Check those bifocals.
