Seattle has provided no protection for Wilson for years now. Sam Darnold is not Wilson as in escaping rush. I hope we aren't using that strat here

Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn
Zaximus replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
No, not even close to as long as the LT position and it's more important. Since we've needed LT we have had Norman and Bradbury. We literally watched a franchise QB that should be our QB still get decimated because ignoring the LT need. -
So which LT do you want us to draft tomorrow in round 2?
Zaximus replied to Agent Blue's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah we'll probably go defense. We'll throw some smorgasbord of a line out there as well and hope it works. -
Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn

We literally lost Bradbury LAST year. We shouldn't have. We had elite CB's we let go. Since then, we've needed LT..... for like 7 years -
San Darnold's health is done that is for sure lol

Matt Rhule on Jaycee Horn - Why he is the best fit
Zaximus replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean we just seen a franchise QB get ruined because of no LT and blocking and yet that is never solved. I'm OK passing on Fields, but why trade for a QB when he's going to have no blocking? The expectations of Horn to be worth it means he's going to have to be a shutdown all-pro at I think. At the very least trade with the Bears and possibly get even more than Gettleman just got from them. -

Right, but the Giants could apparently -

Gettleman just traded their later pick to the Bears, for their 20th and 1st next year and other picks and we are led to believe we couldn't trade down for some OL help? I think I'll be OK with this if Horn is a shutdown corner, else I'm not so sure. -
Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn
Zaximus replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wait, so Gettleman just got the Bears to trade up and got their first later on and next year and more picks and you are telling me we couldn't do that with an even earlier pick? Horn better be a shutdown CB for us. -

Yes it's worked out since Gross retired lol. -

If it wasn't LT, I would be completely fine with it. If it wasn't a gaping hole on this team for the last like almost 10 years I wouldn't mind. I mean here we are, we just have to hope this guy is a beast but Darnold may not make it a season. -

All I can think about is "Damn I hope that Washington win was worth it". It wasn't. This team continues to need an LT and line help. Year after year since Gross. We literally watched a franchise QB get killed over his time here and yet we still choose a CB. That's my issue. I know we need CB but I feel an LT is much more important right now. I'm not even mad about skipping Fields though that still may have been a better pick. I'm just mad about not grabbing an LT or not successfully trading down at least. We are putting a LOT of faith in a failed QB on another team (albeit still young). I think Rhule's coaching time at Carolina is going to come down to Sam Darnold, if he can turn it around or not. We have to hit some home runs in the next days coming up, specifically OL please. -
Maybe the most under watched great show available right now. Who knows where it goes from now.

It's been a few years, got game pass to give it a go on xbox. Pulse pitching has always been my favorite for some reason.

Those first 2-3 DMX albums were awesome. Also DMX was a rapper that fans of other genres liked even though they weren't big on hiphop. I remember going to a concert with him/Limp Bizkit/Godsmack when I was a teenager at the old Charlotte Colosseum and he put on a pretty good show.

Hey more time on your Sundays when hopefully the covid world is more back to normal and we can do more normal things.

Yeah it's mostly Vision without the stone now. Wanda reading Darkhold should bring some cool stuff. We previously have seen this book in Agents of Shield, dealing with Ghost Rider and other storylines, and other shows too (Runaways/Cloak and Arrow). I think Wanda will need Agatha eventually to teach her how to control it all.

Yeah I wouldn't say say Six Feet Under was a massive show though. Justified had a fantastic ending too but not a massive show. Parks and Rec, etc. But yeah it's kind of true, if a show is SO popular, all those years, so connected with fans, which ones really were amazing? Breaking Bad was pretty close, M.A.S.H. But there is a lot of examples like you posted. I really do think people are so sad to see something go that a lot of animosity goes into their judgement.

I was prepared to be really happy with Melo if he dropped like 8-10 assists, high rebounds, and 10-15 points. He's going above what I ever expected. The other guys are just feeding off it. If this team had a legit big man....

Yes, it's fantastic TV. The ending wasn't perfect, the show needed another season for motivations to be clear, but it wasn't as bad as everyone says. The ending made sense they just needed more time to get there. I think a lot of the hate was people also just "sad" it was ending. It was a massive show and event (kind of like Lost back in the day).

Well it's not really a retcon, the actress watching even said "recast" as in, she noticed it wasn't the same likeness of her actual brother. I think it's just a direct creation of a "American" quicksilver (and the beginning of her creating mutants and all that IMO). Possible or the head guy of SWORD was talking about the space mission and how applicants are failing out, etc. Could pave the way for the FF4 crew to be the ones that succeed at that mission.

Turner/Boston admit that the refs screwed us in SB50
Zaximus replied to Mol3m4n's topic in Carolina Panthers
This has been pretty obvious in the NFL since Goodell came along. Magical storyline after storyline in the SBs. Better ratings, etc. The Denver game had like 25 missed calls all in favor of Denver..... and people think that was coincidence. Look at the Saints able to just late hit Favre over and over so we could get the Katrina Super Bowl storyline. Harbough vs Harbough, Peyon's last game, etc. It only takes one head ref pushing things one way or the other (a game of momentum). I don't think it always works but they are pretty good at it. Why do rules get more convulsed and muddy each year instead of more concise? Refs are given a lot of leeway. Goodell has made the owners BIG money since he took over and since most profit is profit sharing most of them are OK with it. -
Man, I remember the light rail ride back to the car..... cold, wet, just completely deflated. Not fun.

The campaign by AKPantherfan about the NFL logo in the middle of the field lol I think there were many "fight me bro" storylines on the huddle but not sure any came to fruition.

Each ending of the episode at the credits zooms into Vision's eyes, kind of weird.....
