    It looked like XL was going to possibly drop it anyway he didn't have a good grip on it. Can't hate him for that hit though.

    After Theilen's performance last game it's kind of wild to me people want to let him walk when he's the only person that can consistently catch a ball on the team. He's also a tough player and a good vet presence, which I'm not always that huge on but I think it's big here and good for Bryce's development. If he didn't get hurt early in the season he'd probably be or close to 1k yards again. I think he also fits the mold that Morgan and Canales want here with tough guys. But I agree with most of the other suggestions. I'd just keep Clowney at this point and let him finish up his time here.

    Yeah trading this dude was a W. It's sad though because he has big talent and can get open at a decent pace. He would have been good for Bryce long term but hey, he doesn't fit the mold here.

    Elijah Moore? I feel he was up and coming but then the Jets were inconsistent with Wilson, Rodgers came in and had him traded to get his own people in there, and we know what he's dealt with with the Browns. He's only 24 as well.

    That's fair, but I don't care about comparing him to the league, just what we all have seen in the actual games and with that, he has bad hands that has cost us a lot of yards and in rough situations. For a #1 pick he should be catching a lot of those if he's getting hands on the ball or it's literally hitting him in the chest/face. He has potential for sure but this team can't bank on that as a given so we should look to a more "hands" receiver that has that skill NOW.

    Yeah to be fair, the "drop" stat has never been a really great indicator. He's had a drop in almost every game this year, multiple in some, and often important ones. I think he's going to get better for sure but this stat is not a good indication of anything. I don't think we are set at WR and probably should look to a draft another true #1 that will be a bit more dependable just in case this is the ceiling.

    I have a problem with abandoning the run game in these games. The play calling can be suspect but mostly was OK minus throwing the run game out the window. What he's done with Bryce so far is pretty impressive though. I agree with others, I think he may need to find a different playcaller and just be the HC. I also wish he would stop the prevent which keeps giving up leads but I guess he doesn't want to overstep with the DC. But at the end of the day, Canales didn't make the refs cheat and screw us out of a TD or Pineiro miss two field goals. It's always going to be an uphill battle with the defense (more specifically the run defense) till we fill those holes. It's good everyone is mad about losing because some weeks ago we didn't expect to win anything but if we look at Bryce's improvement that's huge. You have to have a QB in this league and one that can win you games and he's looking like he "may" be that. We just have to build a better team. But I was sad we lost for sure but I'm blaming the refs damnit.

    No he was a wuss. Going for field goals instead of touchdowns and also abandoning the run. It wasn't his best game let's be honest. When your kicker has missed two field goals you go for it.
