The refs were egregious in that game, altogether there were plenty of terrible calls and calls they missed. It's also not out of bounds to claim the NFL wants a particular outcome. The league loves a good story line and what better story than to send off your future HOF face of the league with a SB W. Ron didn't mind assisting by continuing to allow Miller to abuse Remmers, not to mention waltzing into the biggest game of your life with the exact same gameplan. Sure if you want another SB loss because the HC failed to make a basic adjustment and didn't come out with a different gameplan.

I hope Tepper isn't as obsessed as they were with Watson and ready to mortgage the future. Since Johnson is staying in Detroit, Steichen should be the number one candidate. Payton isn't worth that much.

I like Wilks but he's a average HC, his methodology is outdated. The league has evolved past a hard-nose Defense and pound you four quarters run game. His tenure would be a repeat of past Panthers HC.

Steichen would be great but I think Tepper already had his mind set on Payton for a while now.

Those are some mediocre candidates, not the young fresh offensive HC that Tepper was talking about.

Jordan always get manhandled and dominated whenever he steps on the field. Not only did Rhule think he was good enough to take a spot on the roster, he made him a starter too.

I tuned into the game in time to see Michael Jordan getting beat like a drum, why is he even still on the team.
