What Seahawks Fans Are Saying - Playoff Edition

"But..but...but the Seahawks are not the same team that let the Panthers beat them on a busted play... Never mind the 4 80 yd td drives -
Many of the ExtremeSkins posters are delusional. Not because they believe the Skins can win, but because their complete lack of knowledge about the Panthers.
-
My favorite is. "The Panthers have had a soft schedule, they have only beat one team with a recotd over .500. If we play PHYSICAL, and limit our mistakes, we will win this one."
-
Tight score the whole game.

Yes. @ BOA. We won 27-22. Edit..duh of course we won 8-0

Some of the comments on the Titans board are sad. Its sad because I think some of these poor Tennessee fans cannot help themselves. We should have some sympathy for them. Some seem to be afflicted by a rapidly spreading phycosis known as Jerrellaphobia. This is post tramatic stress disorder brought on by reliving the past, having visions of Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers rolling through the SEC on their way to a National Title, while their beloved Vols remained irrelevant. This is what makes them seeth with blind rage just at the mention of Cameron Jerrell Newton. They are incapable of any kind of reasoned analysis when it comes to Newton and therefore the Panthers by extension.

Thanks. I did know that Philly, indy and GB ran a 3-4 base. I really intended to use the quilifier "a tougher" 3-4 team. With Lebeau at DC, this will probably be the best 3-4 defense we have or will face. That being said, if we play our game and limit mistakes We will win. They are giving up over 20 pts per/g, while ranking top 10 in total yds allowed.

Dedicate a safety to Olsen? I think we'd see a few more 40 to 50 yd bombs over the top. If you spy Cam with a LB? Olsen going to grab 150 on underneath routes. Spy Cam with a safety? * see above 40 to 50 yd bombs over top. It's literally to the point of opposing teams picking their poison.
-
I hope our past struggles against 3-4 defenses is over. I kmow we are the better team and should come away with a win. Team just needs to stay focused and hungry. No let up.

I thought it was frivolous too, until I actually had a chance to read the incident and case report. She got fugged up.

Whole pie for Reagan quote.

I happen to agree with you. Cam Is in a different class. He is a once in a lifetime talent that still has not peakecd. But I was curious about something? You have so many derogatory comments against white players such as Kuechly and Watt and other white stars. Your disdain for them comes from the fact they are white and sucessful; and it pisses you off if they are elevated above any black player that you think is better. Does that make you just as racist as what you believe the powers that be are that in your opinion are just propping up inferior white players at the expense of their more deserving black counterparts? Judging soley from your many bigoted comments on this forum, your not just a racist you are a hypocrite.

Everytime someone brings up Locketts name, my stomach turns a flip. C'mon special teams, man up!!!! -
Are you just trying to look stupid. Up until last year Allen was a perennial double digit sack specialist.

some of the poisonous comments came from some who joined today (trolls)? And the outers are the chicken little crowd that only get vocal when there is some drama happening. -
I don't think it's excuses as much as it is wishful thinking. I think most fans are willing to give Oher the benefit of the doubt and reserve judgement for when the real bullets are flying. It's not unreasonable to assume that Oher can and will be better than Bell, that fact alone warrants some optimism. Do you have any alternative suggestions that would improve our LT situation besides just bitching about the fans that choose to be hopeful things will workout with Oher being a serviceable LT?

Columbus NC. Polk County. It's about 85 miles west of Charlotte. I love the idea of my son having someone to interact with that shares the same challenges as he does. He is also on the low end, his biggest issue is being non verbal. His social skills are good, and so is his demeanor.

I have a 5 year old autistic son, that is obsessed with any kind of ball. I took him to a couple of practices last season at Wofford and he was heartbroken that I couldn't take him on the field and play catch.

yes I agree that there are many more pressing and depressing issues going on in our nation and world, but thats precisely the reason it's nice to have outlets like the huddle to be able to discuss the more trival issues of the day. Thank God we have football and other sports that provide useful diversion from the many negative problems we have to endure daily.

Some might think you are slightly exaggerating when you said "until everyone puked", but I remember that to be the literal truth. I also remember two a day August practices. There was no reward if you lost. Hell I remember even after a win, the coaches would review game film and chart everybody's missed assignments, penalties and mistakes, and we were punished accordingly.
