Dear Tepper, Sometimes money isn't the answer........
-
Players (with the exception of a few high profile skill set positions) are commodities in the NFL..... .....subject to quick obsolesce with a unending (at least for now) supply of younger stock ready to move into that position. I'm know quite a few NFL players from lifting weights in gyms for over 50 years and have heard the stories from all of them. Health of player isn't a concern to the bottom line of ratings in the NFL as long as there are players to replace them.............but when I see all the kids today who either have no interest in playing sports anymore or just soccer instead of football .......I'd be nervous if I was the NFL.

The S2 lab and its testing... not for the faint of heart
PghPanther replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So what good is the S2 assessment of the cognitive multi-reactive timing/spatial awareness in the brain when the skeletal/muscular infrastructure of the body is incapable of expediating the neuropathy way of that stimulus in an efficient manner? Image the cognitive skill set of a Formula 1 driver in a race against other F1 drivers and F1 cars.........but instead of piloting a high tech F1 car this particular high cognitive skill set driver has to send his inputs into a Honda Civic to race against the other competitors in their F1 machines. S2 is only as good as the supportive structure of that stimulus............Young might have an S2 brain but he's got a Honda Civic body trying to compete against the speed of NFL players with F1 racing bodies........... ...................and an educated billionaire get past his ego to realize this? -
Apathy... this franchise is in dangerous territory

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz........Zzzzzzz..............huh? Whaaa? Oh well............. Zzzzzzz................Zzzzz -

Young should have played tennis.............he's built more like Arthur Ashe. He's as out of place in the NFL as Willie Shoemaker would be in the squared circle as a tag team member with King Kong Bundy taking on Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan. ........and I see some of you younger folks will be doing some name Googling after reading that.

Silence will scream at them............ Nobody in the stands cheering for them. No sound of ringing up the sale of merchandise. No spending time watching them or spending any money on their functions......... Silence screams.......................

Coaching.........nothing as long as Tepper runs the show. Front office..........nothing as long as Tepper runs the show. Timeline.........nothing as long as Tepper runs the show. Who is in charge...........Tepper Bottom Line..............you are stuck with Tepper until you are not stuck with him. There I saved a lot of space...........

.......for some but as you indicated at the end of your statement it is a living and business for most athletes and many times their ability to remain in the NFL or in some cases thrive with other teams requires they give it their best especially with performance options tied to many of them so even though they are playing in the abysses at Carolina they don't have to remain there ..........however fans obviously don't have such a burden so if they have something else they'd rather spend time or money on then they can walk from any interest in an organization and in the case of this one remain that way until ownership changes if that be the case which seems to be looking more like that every year with this franchise.

see all the replies you got? Its called fan apathy............ and the Panthers are turning them into "I don't care anymore" as long as Tepper owns them. and a true fan doesn't have to line the pockets of an owner who has doesn't have their interest at heart but rather only his own pocketbook and equally sized ego.

Sick of Losing…Do you have Patience for a Slow 2024.
PghPanther replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panthers have already hit rock bottom this year. But......hey!! There's a new cinematic season of football coming in 2024! ............look for it by its relevant title name. "Panthers minus 1" -
What happens from here? Easy.............the dumpster fire of this organization will either destroy any goodwill left in the Carolinas for them and as a result see the team leave (first NFL team out of the US perhaps to Mexico City I'll bet on)...........or will force the rest of the NFL owners to oust Tepper. Until then the Panthers are Washington with Snyder 2.0

Tepper can at least be first in something when it comes to the NFL..........
-
He's got one but just doesn't know it.......................his wife.
-
She is a what many might see as a JADE trophy wife for Tepper......... Tepper did all his "responsible father stuff" in a prior marriage and this one......well has different goals. ....... as such she can overleverage her position in his life to the point where seemingly good intents end up being a liability to the overall organization. I wouldn't speak for anyone's life outside of mine but I was a divorced billionaire there is no way I'd consider marrying again with the potential problems that could hold.

15 year season ticket holder... I won't be renewing
PghPanther replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panther may be the first team in NLF history that sells more tickets to other team fans in regular season games than their own......... Next year should be the threshold of reaching that. It make sense.............a transplant that doesn't get to see your team much but live in Charlotte area? Then come watch your home team no matter how they are playing get a win right here in your transplanted backyard. If I'm the Panthers organization I'm pushing for selling visiting team fan tickets...........hey if they have to travel any that's more revenue for the area Its a win win at the expense of this dumpster fire organization -

This franchise and its fans are like King Kong swinging at planes on top of the Empire state building.......lots of raving and ranting only to be all shot up and take the fall.
