Longer view of the tossing episode
PghPanther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper's actions are revealing in his personality type..............consider that type of person involved with decision making with his team. One would think if Tepper was being pushed verbally within an ear shot by a fan that he would simply ignore that and have security (what billionaire doesn't have a flock of security within a finger point around them) address the issue and remain calm knowing that in his position if he reacts the way he did it could potentially complicate the situation. Take that same personality/ emotional state that stymies realizing the consequences of such action and think how this same trait would be a liability to his making strategic decisions involving team talent and/or coaching. Sure he can say the "buck stops here" and assume that is a statement of integrity........but if you own the team and have a mind set that you are accountable to nobody.....then what integrity is that showing? and anyone who in that same press conference says "nobody has ever left working for him" as a apple polishing of his loyalty without realizing it is really just pleading the 5th as a rose by any other name. I have a friend who was a big time hedge fund manager and his "big swinging dick" / brass balls personality beyond wall street was arrested in the sociability of a 8th grader...........it seems to be in the water these hedge fund managers live by and the Panthers, fans and the Carolinas in general are stuck with one of them. After all..........he's the smartest guy in the room that has to tell you they are the smartest guy in the room because......well after all.......they've got more money than any of you because of that..............how lovely. -
Official boycott next week’s game
PghPanther replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Go to the game but remain silence the whole time................no booing.........no cheering ........just murmur amongst yourselves while watching the game. Remember Silence screams more than any protest......... -
A domestic cat could really take down a human in full rage ......but they respect size in nature and that keeps humans from being torn to pieces but rather most cats and humans have a symbiotic relationship going back to the beginning of civilization.......we give them a source of food and they get rid of the rats/pests........or in the case of Egyptians they ate the pests that were eating their food stores and as a result thought they were a gift from God and treated them as such.

List of all the bad things Tepper has done
PghPanther replied to TeppersEgos's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well for starters he brought us a state of the art new practi...........oh wait. -
How about this one...........if this team is moved but the NFL wants another team in the Carolinas but must take an existing team and move it here...based on recent moves of other NFL teams that have not established a long term fan basis which team would you want to come here? Raiders?...........Rams, Cardinals...........Chargers? of the more recently moved teams.................or what about a switch?

Domestic house cats have the same size of claws and teeth to scale of big cats...............meaning if they were big cats that would have the same size claws and teeth of a big cat and vise versa.
-
Panther and Jaguars are amazing but my favorite cat by far is the grey ghost.........the spirit in the Himalayan mountains........
-
On the contrary sports team and the NFL specifically is one of the best investments where you have a principle in the billions and its return beats inflation............better than treasury bonds for the wealthy that can get a shot at it. The rest of it is all ego..............you don't get to this level without having one.

I think CAR covers the 6.5 this weekend
PghPanther replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Carolina actually wins this game..................a stretch but I have a feeling the timing on this one is right. Jags playing for their lives.....Panthers playing to see how things work out. Whose the pressure on? -
Tepper being “incredibly accountable” behind the scenes
PghPanther replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
There comes a time when financial success goes from being owned by the investor........... to ending up owning you and in the process swallows your perception of humanity as it inflate your ego beyond the masses of mere mortals who toil over their substance as you rise above it all. No one can tell you what to do or how to do it......... ........you are the captain of your own destiny and the controller of all. Hurbis sunk the titanic..............be careful what hurbis you carry in life Tepper......the ship you guide will be your own responsibility in the end. -

NFL Insider Mike Sando asks what Tepper has learned
PghPanther replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper learned after last Sunday that if he plays the entire season in a monsoon like weather conditions that they might have a chance to finish out of last place in their division next year. -
I know some of you will think this means nothing
PghPanther replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Three FGs and one a gift from a turnover...........to win a game. Yeah it doesn't mean anything....... -
The Falcon who fumbled the ball deep in Panthers territory gets the game ball.........without that turnover Panthers don't get one of their 3 wonderful scoring FG drives and lose the game. Pathetic................

The gold calf of Charlotte?

Dear Tepper, Sometimes money isn't the answer........

Players (with the exception of a few high profile skill set positions) are commodities in the NFL..... .....subject to quick obsolesce with a unending (at least for now) supply of younger stock ready to move into that position. I'm know quite a few NFL players from lifting weights in gyms for over 50 years and have heard the stories from all of them. Health of player isn't a concern to the bottom line of ratings in the NFL as long as there are players to replace them.............but when I see all the kids today who either have no interest in playing sports anymore or just soccer instead of football .......I'd be nervous if I was the NFL.

The S2 lab and its testing... not for the faint of heart
PghPanther replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So what good is the S2 assessment of the cognitive multi-reactive timing/spatial awareness in the brain when the skeletal/muscular infrastructure of the body is incapable of expediating the neuropathy way of that stimulus in an efficient manner? Image the cognitive skill set of a Formula 1 driver in a race against other F1 drivers and F1 cars.........but instead of piloting a high tech F1 car this particular high cognitive skill set driver has to send his inputs into a Honda Civic to race against the other competitors in their F1 machines. S2 is only as good as the supportive structure of that stimulus............Young might have an S2 brain but he's got a Honda Civic body trying to compete against the speed of NFL players with F1 racing bodies........... ...................and an educated billionaire get past his ego to realize this? -
