We need speed on the outside almost as much as we need a LT. That will be another area to watch...who are the skilled burners in this draft. Not as many as last year so they'll come at a premium.

If we end up drafting in the top 10 we need to do two things: A. Take BPA regardless of position with exception to linebacker..we suck everywhere. B. Nail free agency. Hardy will be off the books...go after a capable DE like JPP, Avril. Someone who will get the job done but won't absolutely break the bank. Also...one guy to keep an eye on is Andre Smith's backup at Cincy. Marshall Newhouse has been excellent at LT. He is gonna get a contract from someone. I think he could be an upgrade for us at that position. He would probably be a 5 year 25 million type of contract. If things fell our way you could be looking at Cooper in the first with Newhouse and a guy like JPP in FA. Hopefully....

With our offense this year we are really going to need strong special teams play. Ginn was huge for us as far as field position..allowing our (mostly) anemic offense to at least get in position to put up points. Brown looks like Ginn when he runs. His legs don't look quite as long and probably doesn't have quite as much straight line speed but he looks like he doesn't waste time dancing when he gets it, which bodes well for his ability. OSU players are taught about as well as anyone in the country at running routes and running on ST. I think he'll make the roster.

Exactly...in this situation any bodily injury is going to be assumed to be inflicted by someone else (Hardy). The best they could do is restrain her from injury and keep her around until the cops show up. Looks like Hardy handled this about as well as he could without completely staying out of it..which would have been preferred. However...worst case scenario is he doesn't call the cops at all and she goes home with self-inflicted wounds that are presumably caused by him. It'll get sorted out..doesn't look like a great case for her. Especially if they drug tested her and she's on drugs...

If we don't win every game that you have mentioned then I will continue to be in the non-believer camp when it comes to Rivera. There is not an elite QB or defense in that entire list of opponents.
