Well having a LT start with that issue seems perfectly acceptable to you. You clearly are okay with a LT who will keep you out of the playoffs with his pass blocking. That pass blocking won't improve for 3 more seasons if you are lucky. His waist bending and slow kick are not something that corrects easily.

Move Ekwonu to guard and be done with the fail pass blocking. Some of the worst pass blocking I have seen from a Panther LT. Right there with Byron Bell. Todd Steussie was a better pass blocker than Ekwonu. Easily costing the Panthers on 3 to 4 losses per season in the 4th quarter without question.

Is that 3 or 4 losses with the Panthers trying to win on a 4th quarter drive with Ekwonu going full fail with his pass blocking?

All Pro pass blocker according to some. You don't want Ekwonu in pass pro in a close game while tied or trailing late in the 4th quarter.

Ekwonu likely cost the Panthers a 3rd loss this season the same way with his awful pass pro He always needs help

This was expected by the Bucs with their game plan. Panthers must run up the score before half to win.

Darnold has to come up clutch now. Defense is not coming up with turnovers against Brady. This does not look good. Can Darnold go toe to toe with Brady, or will Darnold panic?

Who runs this Panthers offense of old better? 2015 Cam Newton or 2022 Sam Darnold?

2015 Panthers Defense lite.... brings back memories of Luke and TD in the double A gap blitz. Not as dominant, but Wilks has the defensive speed and personnel to run it.

Glass is built physically and mentally to succeed in the NFL. He just has to go the route of most NFL QBs who succeed and were not given the 1st round QB opportunity. I will let you know when he fails to capitalize on an opportunity. He is still around and on the radar of a couple teams if you do not follow QBs like I do. And I don't want Bennett

You do realize Moon went undrafted, played in the CFL, turned around a struggling franchise, never won a SB, and only won 3 of 10 playoff games. Watch Moon with Washington and in the CFL. He had an accurate ball with a fair amount of wobble. He used his fingernails to spin the ball. He ran as needed and was effective. Was very smart in reading a defense and anticipating his WR hitting a hole in the defense. Moon was far from perfect and was no where near a combine warrior.

Not contrarian. It's well known a vast majority of 1st round QBs do not turn out to be worth a 1st round pick. The data proves that is the majority opinion. I am just pointing out why they are not worth a 1st round pick if the goal is to build a championship team with draft capital. Most of you are too hopeful as if you are purchasing a lottery ticket with a 1st round QB (especially a top 15 pick).
