  1. Wait for a mistake D and dont give up a big play. A version of condensed prevent while waiting for a few plays that they studied. Must create turnovers with this D or it's a fail.
  2. These game plans look like it's coming down to not making mistakes for 3 quarters, keeping the score low, eating clock, and letting the best QB win the game. Same as last week. This may be what we see every week until Young proves he can win games in the 4th quarter and be a playmaker. 4Q QB v QB
  3. underneath is wide open and the middle of the defense is soft on the run
  4. Need turnovers or back to back Saints mistakes for 3rd and long with this defensive strategy by Evero
  5. Defense is just giving up underneath and middle running game to Saints. Waiting for Saints mistakes. Is this sustainable?
  6. You think it is seperation on developing routes and not Young struggling and not seeing the field?
  7. I deal the good and the bad. You can never call me a homer.
  8. Ekwonu is already in Young's lap. Got 3 thanks to Sanders and Thielen. Waiting on Young to show up.
  9. Young is just wasting downs when his number is called
  10. Sanders Thielen Sanders Thielen Sanders Thielen. Handoffs and quick passes. ok So, when does Bryce Young factor in?
  11. I just want to see a well prepared and efficient offensive drive for at least 3 points. Not asking for much
  12. Nice stop. Burns is an elite pass rusher. Need more 3rd and longs
  13. So, we have to be the best in the NFC South. We have to get by the Commanders, 49ers, and Bears in the NFC playoffs to make all of these coaching moves and trades payoff since 2000. The only reasonable success on that list of musts is being better than the Bears. I want to be shocked out of this pit of bad decisions that the Panthers have been celebrating for half a decade come Monday night against the Saints. Please, show us the decisions are better than what the Saints have done!
  14. Championship QBs don't need playmakers when a GWD is on the line. They are the playmaker.
  15. Bryce Young has to at least be the best QB in the NFC South for the pick not to be a bust
  16. Ridder with 2 GWD. Can Bryce keep up with Ridder, Carr and Mayfield?
  17. We are just going to ignore the 4 GWD in Brady's first 6 playoff games including 2 SBs? He had 3 GWDs in the 2001 season too. Remember, this was about what a young inexperienced QB could do with little to no talent surrounding him on offense. Delhomme had 7 GWDs in his first season as a starter, and he had a GWD in the playoffs that year too that led the Panthers to the SB against Tom Brady. Bryce Young had a GWD opportunity in week 1 with a 10 -10 game going into the 4th quarter. Desmond Ridder out performed him. Young went 0-4 on 4Q drives. 2 of those drives were 3 and outs. How many of these will you accept? What's your cutoff for an NFL QB with the game on the line in 4Q? A team has 6 to 8 of these GWD opportunities per season that a QB has to be prepared to win. The Panthers went 1 for 7 on GWD opportunities in 2022. Anyone serious on getting a championship QB doesn't just let a QB whiff on these. There is always a line that QB can never cross when it comes to tanking in the 4Q. Otherwise, you're just apologizing and accepting mediocrity.
  18. We spent all the capital for those players on Young. Young is suppose to make a bad team good. Not the other way around. We had Darnold and Mayfield for that. Tom Brady made lesser talent than the Panthers have on offense look good in his first season as a starter. Brock Purdy would too. Brady only needs Thielen, Hurst and Sanders type players to put up points and win a championship. Easily go to the playoffs.
  19. Is it fair to measure them against 2nd year QBs who didn't get to start until the end of last season? Brock Purdy, Desmond Ridder and Sam Howell?
  20. Ridder led 2 drives that resulted in 4Q TDs. He racked up the elusive GWD. He is the better QB. Young will have to prove himself at some point. Young may be the worst QB in the NFC South. We will see when he matches up against Mayfield. The two #1 picks (Mayfield, Young) are the worst in the division. A 2nd and 3rd round QB are better. Who would have ever thought that?
