Will the refs call holds on the Chiefs OL too like they did the 49ers? Chiefs OL holds the most of any team in the NFL.

Bill Walsh dominace in the NFL from WCO, to roster building, to QBs, to WRs, to coaches during the entire SB era. It's unstoppable. No one can consistently beat it. Hate the Panthers were too early to the Bill Walsh party in hiring Seifert. Defensive coaches like Carroll, Dungy & Belichick struggled until he released his book for them to study going into the 2000s. Prior to the 2000s Walsh's offensive students instantly dominated the NFL Walsh dominace continues in 2024

In a deep qb class should the panther take one day 3?

Canales would work well developing Sam Hartman in a WCO system behind Bryce Young. -
Breaking Down the Shrewed moves that Built the Carolina Panthers
CPantherKing replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Did you know... The Panthers are in the same position as the 1979 49ers were when no coach wanted to work for their ownership & they went with a 1 year NFL OC with NFL QB success including rehabbing the career of a #1 pick QB in Jim Plunkett (went on to win the SB) who the 49ers tossed away for a rookie QB 1 year prior. Steve Spurrier (#3) & Jim Plunkett (#1) were their failed 1st round QB projects they traded away the franchise for to eventually go with Walsh to fix a struggling rookie Steve DeBerg going into his second season. That's our hope. Now, Canales just needs to draft a 3rd/4th round QB to develop behind a struggling 2nd year QB he is tasked to resurrect. Trade Young after replacing him late in the 2025 season with our new Joe Montana. Dynasty built! That's our hope during these dark times. Blueprint for success? -
NFL Honors: Panthers front and center

Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Reggie Wayne, Tory Holt, Hines Ward & Steve Smith should all be ahead of Andre Johnson. -
Looks like we get to keep Ejiro Evero!
CPantherKing replied to Loyalty4Life's topic in Carolina Panthers
Defensive stats put in perspective tell us the Panthers players were not prepared well enough to create turnovers, were the worst in forcing teams to pass the ball & gave up the most points with the fewest yards required to score. That points scored to yardage ratio on the defense is horrible. When you factor in a majority of it was against the run, that's even worse. Teams ran at will on the Panthers & scored quickly without any fear of being hit hard enough to cause a fumble. Easy audibles for QBs to check out of any pass. Easy mode for any NFL QB. That's not even a bend but don't break defense. That's a be abused & be broken defense. If the Panthers were to score points on offense, would the defense even be able to get off the field or would it look like the 2022 Broncos defense? It's clear to see the Panthers defense did not factor into controlling games all season long. The Panthers offense was 6th in the NFL at controlling the clock. The defense can't expect better & they need to get off the field. I don't see Evero improving on any of that as he demonstrated the same problems with the Broncos & the Panthers. Evero would have made Bryce Young look like an All Pro. -
Watch Ricky Pearsall. He's running the best routes at the Senior Bowl practices. I just hope his draft stock doesn't rise too much & he can be had by the 3rd/4th round.

Adisa Isaac, Laiatu Latu, LaDarius Henderson, Roger Rosengarten, Sam Hartman, Ricky Pearsall, Brendan Rice, Luke McCaffrey, Ben Sinnott & Malik Mustapha for the Senior Bowl. That National offense with the QBs & WRs with 2 national championship game OT bookends is going to be impressive. Those 3 WRs have great hands & body control. Rice & McCaffrey should perform well with their dads being trained in Bill Walsh's system. Those 2 edge rushers are going to be fun to watch as well. I am looking forward to watching Pearsall. Shrine Bowl has Devin Leary, Taulia Tagovailoa, Frank Gore Jr & the Murphy twins from UCLA. Let's see how they perform. Always looking for those few standouts that drop in the draft.

Steve Wilks owning Dan Campbell yet again.
CPantherKing replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
I keep hearing Wilks & Purdy are just getting lucky & being bailed out by Shannahan. This is the same Shannahan who couldn't make DeMeco Ryans, Jimmy G, Trey Lance, Mike McDaniels & Bobby Slowik lucky when he had to bail them out? Wilks & Purdy are key to the 49ers success. CMC is good, but only when he has a QB who can open his opportunities up so the defense doesn't sit in his running lanes. You have to give Wilks & Purdy their obvious credit for being the best in the NFL. Shannahan & his 49ers would be sitting at 7 to 10 points scored for a playoff game like the Dolphins & Texans if it wasn't for the play of Brock Purdy & the aggressive play calling of Steve Wilks in the 2nd half. -
Did the panthers lose on the CMC trade?
CPantherKing replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was good with Wilks, Purdy, CMC, Jahmyr Gibbs, Garrett Wilson, DJ Moore, Adam Thielen, Jake Ferguson, Michael Mayer, Dawand Jones, Jamaree Salyer, Bradley Bozeman, Zach Tom & Taylor Moton over the last 2 seasons. What do I know... Investing heavily in Reich, Bryce, Ekwonu & leveraging the team on Hubbard, Sanders, Thomas, Tremble & Mingo with no 1st round pick in 2024 was definitely the way to go. -
It's a party with a Purdy
-
No it's not. You're just not keeping count & hanging your hat on failed 1st round QBs who couldn't get it done with the team that drafted them.
-
Most 1st round QBs are overrated. Hard pass. Purdy > Lamar Jackson, CJ Stroud, Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, Kenny Pickett, Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Jordan Love, Justin Fields, Kyler Murray & Bryce Young. Going toe to toe with Patrick Mahomes to own the NFL for the 2020s. A few more Brock Purdys headed our way this decade. Unitas, Starr, Staubach, Montana, Favre, Warner, Brady were the best QBs of their era. Purdy gets a chance to carry that trend for the 2020s with Mahomes as his #2 like Manning was to Brady & Marino/Elway were to Montana. History keeps repeating
-
Ravens fans wanted Lamar Jackson to look more like Brock Purdy
-
Purdy's runs & passes are opening it up for CMC
-
So many of you were putting Shannahan on the hot seat. Looks like Dan Campbell & Ben Johnson should be on the hot seat.
-
Goff is the new Phillip Rivers or Dan Marino? You choose.
-
Refs trying hard to give the Lions the game
-
Shannahan put Purdy back in his pocket
-
Shannahan isn't forcing Purdy to stay in the screen & quick timing pass box atm.
-
Shannahan let Purdy off the tight leash & now Purdy has opened it up for CMC Knew it was coming
-
Isn't that what we should expect from a Ben Johnson called offense?
-
You missed the 2 passes & the run he made to carry the 2 TD drives?
-
Feels like a 28-3 Brady over Ryan comeback happening right now Purdy v Goff
