  1. Play calling has went from play with no fear/keep pounding to play scared/don't make mistakes
  2. Buck is happy again. Expect a lot of penalties on the Panthers that are ridiculous. NFL wants the Seahawks back in this.
  3. Stomp on the Seahawks. Stop playing soft. Coaches decision. Taking it away from Kuechly and Cam. Kuechly was upset with the play calling to end the first half.
  4. Can we not play an entire half of soft coverage on defense and little pressure up the middle. Bury them! Coaches always get in the way.
  5. Officials have been instructed to get the Seahawks back in the game. Penalty on Colin Jones was ridiculous.
  6. Bury them. Close the book and make the Seahawks have to retool their team. Here is the book on how to defend Wilson. 2 dominant DTs and LBs with 2 disciplined vet DEs.
  7. Is it me or does Joe Buck sound depressed to see the Seahawks get dominated. Aikman is excited to see offensive domination over one of the top defenses in the NFL.
  8. I called 44-9 earlier this week. I think the Seahawks may let me down 44-0.
  9. Apparently soft grass is worse than below 0 weather. Seahawks live on fieldturf. They suck on grass.
  10. It's the playoffs. Bury them! Make a statement! Can someone make a gif of Wilson on ground stunned while he looks up to see what happened. That was an awesome expression.
  11. Love for the Panthers declared since 1995! Would love to be at the game cheering on the Panthers and giving my wife a chance to see the players on the field before the game. Keep Pounding! Good luck to all.
  12. Any good coach would have placed the ball between the hashes for that kick. Vikings had a total collapse with the coaching, RB, kickers, and holder at the end of the game. Unacceptable.
  13. Same reason they keep getting run by the Rams and Jeff Fisher. They force him into 3rd and short and it takes Wilson out of the game. Makes the Seahawks one dimensional. They are more dangerous on 3rd and 8 than they are on 3rd and 1. Put them in the red zone and they are even less effective. Seahawks fans know this and complain about it.
  14. Let's solve this right here and now... Situation: 2nd and goal at the 1 with the Super Bowl on the line. QB has to score the TD in 3 tries. Do you want Russell Wilson or Cam Newton? When it comes to short yardage with the game on the line for a 1st down or a touchdown there is no question Cam is the more dominant QB with his arm and legs. Just like the option of Michael Jordan driving to the hoop or Isiah Thomas weaving through players and lobbing up a shot. Both are great options in the clutch, but with the game on the line I know who I want if I have to chose one.
  15. The Panthers are not a hard nosed running team that utilizes play action. The run option is based on the delay mechanic from the draw play which is the opposite of play action. The Panthers rarely use play action, and when they do it is in short yardage and goal line situations. The Panthers play calling is close to 58% pass heavy. Even if you count all the garbage run plays in the stat sheet like QB kneel downs and Nortman dancing in the end zone to take a safety while tossing in the debatable run plays of Cam scrambling on a pass play and the QB sneaks for 1 yard, the Panthers are still less than 50% run to pass. The Panthers run between the tackles less than 23% of the time. A more accurate statement of the Panthers offense is that they are a deceptive run/pass option offense that utilizes draw plays. I believe you nailed it. Cam, Stewart, and Tolbert are physical runners taking advantage of option plays that spread out the defense with the threat of a pass play. For example, a run like this: Cam Newton Plows Through Multiple Falcons on this POWERFUL run This comes on 3rd and long out of a pass play in the shotgun with max pro. Much like a QB draw. Pass plays that turn into runs are a majority of Cams attempts. I would group these with the dump off passes other QBs would rely on rather than grouping it with a traditional power run. Cam's legs will scare a defense, but he beats you with his arm. Cam accounted for 45 TDs. Stewart was the only other RB on the team with more than a single rushing TD. He had 6 for the season. Also, RBs accounted for 21.8% of the teams first downs. Stewart ranked 22nd in first downs and Doug Martin, Adrian Peterson, and Devonta Freeman were all close to double Stewart's production in 1st downs. Finally, the Panthers only had a RB go over 100 yards twice this season (Stewart). This illustrates how the Panthers do not rely on a power running game to move the ball and score points, but they use it as a counter punch to balance the offense out and keep defenses honest. Deception and distribution > power running in the Panthers offense.
  16. He got the word from someone up top or he blindly trusted Cory.
  17. Here are the top 3 reasons the Panthers lost: 1. Kurt Coleman losing track of his deep angle on another top NFL receiver - his #1 priority. How many times has he lost his deep or sideline angle on the #1 target this season? 2. The defensive play calling for soft coverage on 3rd down leading to 5/5 3rd down conversions on the Falcons first TD drive. 3. The Panthers offensive play calling for failing to challenge their offense to make plays. This was clear when the Panthers settled for 3 points late in the game at the ATL 15 when the offense needed to be challenged to win the game. Also, Shula forcing Cam to play it safe in the 2nd half did not help the Panthers. This game was coached to save their players and game plan more than it was to win the game. Would being undefeated and going down in history be great? Absolutely. The coaches are playing this out for the playoffs. I believe that is bad for the team with home field still up in the air. It better work and they better let the panthers unleash come playoff time. If this coaching staff bottles the Panthers up into a conservative game plan like their 3 previous playoff games, then it will be a horrible decision and a wasted season. Let them loose and get out of the way of the star players. If the Panthers' coaches come with more of the same against Tampa Bay and the Panthers go into the playoffs with a losing streak, a one week bye, and losing home field advantage to the Cardinals, then the coaches are going to make the biggest mistake of their career. Personally, I am tired of seeing coaching hold back the players from what they want to do. These players have always rode momentum for success, and when the coaches shut them down to play the averages/play conservative, then it always puts the team in the tank. History has proven that to everyone.
  18. Cam playing unprepared and distracted. He looked defeated today. Shula had full control of the offense today. Sucked. Little to no adjustments, no huddles, and audibles at the LoS by Cam. Did they ever attack deep all day and try to go after the end zone. Panthers gave up on the running game in the 2nd half. Safeties exposed again. When your MLB covers better than your safeties, you know there is an issue. Godfrey was the best safety on the field today. Something is missing in Cam's eyes now. Do not like it. Defense played way too soft on 3rd downs. How many did they give up? So many missed tackles. Awful game by the Panthers as a whole.
  19. Kurt Coleman blown assignment. Let the slot receiver get behind him when he was passed off. Earlier Colin Jones exploited. Same weaknesses as always. Still difficult to attack the weaknesses.
  20. Looks like Colin Jones will not see the field again today. Finnegan is going to get all the snaps. We knew Brees was going to exploit Colin Jones.
  21. New tradition starts now. When the Panthers are at home, players confiscate an opponents sign pregame. The players after the game then write a message on the banner, sign it, and mail it back to them with an invitation to attend their next championship parade. Panthers win!
  22. "No banners or flags expressing support of visiting teams may be affixed to or displayed on any surface. Hand held signs or posters that are in compliance with the balance of this policy are acceptable. "Hand held signs, banners and flags in the stands must comply with the rules governing message content and may not be affixed to metal rods, wooden posts or any other material that could cause injury to other patrons. Fans displaying signs, banners or flags should not obstruct the view of other patrons. "Stadium Management reserves the right to confiscate signs, banners and flags that are not in compliance with this policy or obstruct the view of others." http://www.panthers.com/stadium/policies-information/banner-policy.html Packers fan loses!
  23. So, the Packers fan admits to smuggling in unauthorized paraphernalia into a large private facility? I believe that is a punishable offense. Arrest that man. Thankfully Cam was there to uphold the law! Criminal Packers fans need to stay away from Panthers Country! Pie if you support life time ban of all Packers fans smuggling in cheese heads and large packers banners!
  24. Was not Luke. He ran right by Kurt Coleman standing still in his lane. Coleman is the liability and was out of position. The fact Kuechly got closer than Coleman on the pursuit is another issue.
