  1. Seeing people defend a back shoulder slant in the redzone is ridiculous. I'm glad that's not an INT. Bryce has been throwing behind receivers a few times today. They're going to get intercepted at some point if Bryce doesn't correct that
  2. So hitting the receiver on a redzone slant in the chest near the back shoulder with a trailing DB is a catch that must always be made? Did you want receivers to stop on a dime on a slant with a trailing DB and do a pirouette? A slant is not a comeback route. When a QB makes that throw behind a slant, be glad the receiver kept the DB from getting an INT
  3. If you think Bryce is throwing better balls than Shough, you are bias. Shough is throwing ropes to spots on his receiver can make a play on the ball. Marino/Bledsoe type throws
  4. Bryce throwing blind slants in the redzone from the pocket is definitely high risk gambling
  5. Asking a WR to comeback to attack a ball on a slant in the redzone is just next level protecting a QB from his bad throw
  6. That pass was behind the receiver on a slant. When is that ever a good pass? QBs are lucky those don't get picked. A DB like Horn would have picked that
  7. TMac was open for a TD. Bad pass placement that let the defender get in on it. Throw it in front of TMac with his wingspan. Lead him
  8. Bryce with another bad throw from the pocket. He can't locate his receivers unless they role him out
  9. They have to role Bryce out. The Saints are jamming the passing lanes from the pocket and hiding bracket defenders to jump TMac and XLs routes
  10. They have him bracketed and trying to lure Bryce to throw to him. Issue isn't TMac getting open. It's Bryce doubting where the defenders are hiding. He can't see with his passing lanes crowded.
  11. Bryce has been gun shy. He's staying away from throwing to the zone where he can't see possible hidden defenders trying to get him to throw to TMac
  12. What kind of defensive play call was that near the goalline? Do they think we have LBs like Kuechly and safeties like Polamalu? Why is Derrick Brown anchoring the line there? He's a great 34 DE, but he's always been below average against the run from the inside to keep the offense from getting a gain. That's why we have Bobby Brown.
  13. Takes more than consistency to be a franchise QB. Minimum is 3 years of consistency to be on a path for a failed franchise QB that is held on to for 5+ years and never gets you to championship games or is in the MVP race. We want a Delhomme or Newton at least. May even take a Collins. We don't need a QB worse than a Kordell Stewart or Alex Smtih. Those QBs are easy to find and don't cost you a fortune.
  14. I expected 6 wins this season. I need to see the Panthers blow by that now that they exceeded it by 1. I like how Canales has schemed around the weaknesses on offense in the passing game. I am impressed with the receivers, run blocking, running back combo and secondary communication in zone. Defense and QB need more consistency. The improvement of the defensive play calling and critical 3rd down and 4Q passing when trailing is going to be what I am looking for going into the playoffs. If the Panthers can consistently regain the lead after trailing over the next 4 games, I can see them competing in the playoffs and worth a reevaluation of the last 2 seasons' weaknesses. This is the prove it or lose it moment in their Panthers careers for Young and Evero. No excuses.
  15. They wanted to talk to Baker. They seem so unexcited to interview Cousins.
  16. That deserves a sign and retire for Zane Gonzalez as a Panther. Put him in the Ring of Honor!
  17. Why did Al Michaels seem so deflated? Could it be their bias for BAKE? That was such a poor play call for a game winner by pro announcers
  18. This is going to be a Buc Breaker from crazy leg Zane
  19. No hot route on the blitz? Seems like a coaching problem
