Being backed up due to a boneheaded action by a teammate at the last second before having to make a game winning kick and the mental carry over on focus for a kicker into OT would have a much greater bearing on making those kicks. Selfie was not the problem. Boneheaded decisions with the game on the line was the problem.

Yes, especially when he gave up on plays, got pushed down the field, and walked to the ball while the play was still going on. He enjoyed watching the game every 3rd snap he was on the field. How about that 4 man rush in the 4th quarter that turned into a 3 man rush because Brown decided he lost in the first 2 seconds so he would just drop back 10 yards and let Mariota have all the time he wanted in the pocket? Brown is just looking for the hero/highlight plays that he can get when they are easy and he just needs to slant hard into a gap while not caring about his actual gap/lane responsibility. He forgot to stunt 2 times on plays designed for him to stunt. One resulted in Mariota running up the middle for a long gain and a first down. That is not playing extremely hard or giving an amazing effort. I think someone should put a game reel together of all Brown's snaps and after you watch them back to back you can make this comment. Instead, you see 3 hero plays and forget there is more to the game for a DT than just slanting through a gap and hoping for the best. Having Brown at DT is much more costly for the team than most seem to understand. Ioannidis > Brown. Matt actually had key impactful plays while taking care of his team responsibilities. Matt showed up in the clutch too and never gave up on a single play.

Not looking forward to seeing the 49ers beat the Panthers in the playoffs over the next 6 to 8 seasons. The Panthers now have to plan on building a defense that can stop the 49ers and the Rams offense. Good job Fitterer

If all my QB had to do was throw a 5 yard first down on 4th down to win the game, and a WR decided taunt a defender before the snap resulting in a 4th and 20, I am not going to blame the QB for not converting the 4th and 20 first down. I am going to blame the boneheaded WR who put his team in a situation to lose the game. So, I am not blaming the kicker for losing the game. You can thank DJ Moore for a boneheaded move that was all about game awareness and discipline. That is what lost the game. DJ Moore controlled the fate of his team and he decided to be selfish.

DJ iced his own kicker and got into this head. Broke the kicker's confidence and forcing a foreseeable kicker slump.

The answer is DJ Moore. He turns a game winning play the QB worked to hand to DJ into an ultimate kicker icing play that forces OT and puts more pressure on a tired defense while getting into the head of his own kicker. The carry over leads to a rattled kicker in OT and no big clutch plays by DJ to bail out the team in OT. All while DJ laughs on the sideline and then realizes at the end how badly he cost many of his teammates and coaches.

DJ apologists will give DJ all the credit and not acknowledge how much work PJ had to do to even give DJ a chance to grab some easy catches. DJ isn't fighting to bail out his QB.

It's Bozeman. Not Foreman. Foreman is a quality ground and pound, but Bozeman is the reason that running game is opening up. Most RBs in the NFL would be running well behind a Bozeman led OL. CMC would be tearing it up. Keeping Elf at C was a horrible decision. Keeping Elf on the team was an awful GM move.

If I had my picks in the draft, you would have CMC, Nick Chubb, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, and Hunter Henry anchoring this offense and getting the targets. DJ Moore would never have been in a Panthers uniform.

No. I believe CMC being traded in conference was a dumb move and will come back to haunt the Panthers for years. The draft picks are a waste until the Panthers can prove they can beat the 49ers over the remainder of CMC's career. That trade will define how bad a GM Fitterer is in the NFL.

I would argue that DJ put pressure on the kicker in a game winning situation more than the Falcons ever could. That followed Pineiro into OT and had him off his game. Pineiro is not a top kicker and was focused on his game. DJ threw him off really bad and like most kickers this could have carry over until Pineiro breaks this slump. Send him to the sports psychologist and send the bill to DJ Moore.

Too many DJ apologists. DJ has been holding back the passing game for years holding the #1 spot and wasting all those targets. He should get 50 to 70 targets per season at most. Send DJ packing for picks. You could draft 2 WRs that are as good or better in a single draft with a better chance of being clutch. The DJ apologists can follow him.

Keep babying DJ. You can get his yards/target from any NFL caliber WR. You can easily replace his 4 TDs per year, and you will likely find a tougher and more competitive WR who can be clutch. DJ has never been clutch. His one clutch moment you have been waiting 5 seasons for ended up as a boneheaded mistake you want to forget. DJ is easier to replace than Cam Newton or CMC.

DJ Moore is much easier to replace than CMC. Trade DJ if you can get the picks. Otherwise, DJ is at best a #2 WR for a championship level team. There are 3 to 5 WR coming into the NFL every year that are better than DJ. DJ has never been trending up against his peers.

He is not good. He is very athletic and an average receiver. You could feed any NFL receiver the amount of targets DJ has gotten and see the same or better production. Muhammad was good. Smitty was great. DJ is average.

DJ isn't a weapon. He is fools gold as the #1 WR. He is Isaac Bruce.

Ridder will pan out. He'll be a franchise QB for a while in the NFL.
