  1. Panthers still running left 80% of the time? I'm sure there isn't an NFL DC who is going to figure that out.
  2. Robby Anderson is a WR. Robby Anderson want to show off. Robby Anderson don't block.
  3. First turnover for the defense this season? About time... are they finally being coached up to create turnovers?
  4. Cam Newton is better than Baker and Winston Tells you a lot about the state of the NFL and how they evaluate and invest time in the wrong QBs. Front offices still can't figure out how to pick a QB. It is not that hard to spot them. A QB only needs average skill and above average intellect to develop quickly into a SB QB. You need a top level coach and GM to make that happen.
  5. Saints gave back points the Panthers were handing to them lol
  6. Panthers offense game plan is to roll passes away from Ickey while still giving Ickey help
  7. Burns with that great awareness to not make a play on a ball 20 feet in the air
  8. Game plan for Rhule is still the same regardless of roster. Slow play the coaches holding back the playbook. Slow down the game and keep drives to a minimum. Score 17 points by the 4th quarter. Be ready to execute a prepared and perfect 4 minute offense to end the game controlling the entire 4th quarter with the running game. Give up all underneath passes and sit on run in the 4th quarter. Keep the clock running in the 4th quarter; do not let Panthers offense go out of bounds. This is what I expect again until Rhule and company prove they can consistently beat NFL coaches head to head in their coaching execution in a close game entering the 4th quarter.
  9. Starters: Moton, Corbett, Bozeman, Ickey (OG), BC (LT), CMC, DJ (#2 WR), McCall, Barno, Shaq (SLB), Chinn (In-The-Box SS ala Polamalu) Specialists: Burns (pass rush), Luvu (pass), Horn (Nickle), CJ (Dime), Brown (pass rush DT / 34 DE), Jansen LS, Hekker P. Developmental: Mays, Ricci, Brandon Smith I'd replace the rest of the roster leaving 22 roster spots to fill. Thanks Fitterer!
  10. Cam Newton can do better than this and give a team a better chance at winning a game at the end. Neither are going to win you a SB, but why must we keep downgrading the QB position. It hasn't been this bad since going from Beuerlein to Lewis to Weinke. Makes me wish we had a Pickles situation where we go from Delhomme to Pickles to Newton. Newton to Allen to Bridgewater to Darnold to Baker is half a decade of missing on QBs There are 3 QBs that would perform like Delhomme and 1 QB that is sitting out there available like Kurt Warner. Trade for them or sign the best of the 4 off the street. These front offices keep thinking these college game QBs can transition to the NFL with success, and they are dead wrong.
  11. When your coach gives you a game plan to keep the game close and win it at the end while not making the proper moves and calls for the team in the last 4 minutes, then it is clearly on the coaches. Teddy Bridgewater emphasized this point after year 1 with Rhule and it still holds true in year 3. They don't prepare enough for the last 4 minutes of the game. Anderson knows he is out of a starting job in the NFL if Rhule isn't the HC.
  12. Dear Mr. Anderson, I know you have lived on entitlement due to your physical blessings for most of your life. I understand you have never been able to learn from a championship culture or what winning actually is on this rock we call Earth. I know you can't tell the difference between a panther and a bear. The stadium is the crowd. The stadium is not solely Panthers fans. You are dealing with a mixed audience - opposing teams fans, diehard fans, fair weather fans, wine and cheese crowd (aka Tepper's friends). You are paid to do ONE THING - win the crowd! That means shut up the other teams fans and get your fans hyped. You need to win at your position and help your teammates win at their position if you are a leader. You are not a leader, so just win at your position and the crowd will cheer and chant your name. You are without a doubt an entitled hypocrite. How do we know this? You want the stadium crowd (a mob mentality that YOU control) to coddle you and make you feel better so you can apparently play better. However, you do not think you need to play better and earn the respect of the crowd to make them bring more energy. You have life backwards my bear loving buddy. The World is not hear to cater to you and make you feel like you are loved. The World is here to bring you pain and make you grow. You are not here to enjoy the pleasures of the World free of cost. You are here to perform for the World and foster a community that cares and loves you for what you do for them. Then that community will care for and protect you. We all are! Do for others and returns will come to you. Do for yourself, expect others to honor you, and live with a world of pain no matter how financially and physically fortunate (the lowest value of decaying life) you are in life. You are dirt and dust. Everything else that makes you who you are comes from those you surround yourself with and perform for on a daily basis. If you don't like your current situation, then change it. Perform better and win, retire, force a trade, find a new chapter in life... When you, Mr. Anderson, and all of Rhule's mistakes, gaslighting, and negative energy leave the building, the energy will become dramatically more positive among the fan base. Your other option is to win the crowd. The stadium does not BOOOOOO because they spent all that money on you to come to the game and want you to fail, they BOOOOOO because your energy on the field evokes that from the crowd with a disappointed mob hive mind. You are wasting the time fans have in their life to enjoy their team. You have chosen to be responsible for that time you are wasting in so many peoples' lives - the people who give you the life you can afford now as one of the fortunate few. Do better Mr. Anderson!
  13. Capers had 1 bad year after getting to the NFC Championship in year 2. Won the division in year 2. Seifert who won 2 SBs started strong in 1999 and made the mistake in picking 1 QB - Jeff Lewis. Out after 1 bad season in 2001. Finished 2nd in the division in his first season. Fox got the Panthers to 2 NFC Championship games and saw the SB in his second season. He found his QB in year 2. Fox had one bad season in 2010 and messed up 1 time in picking the wrong QB in Pickles. Out after the 2010 season. Won the division in year 2. Rivera found his QB in year 1. Won the division in year 3. Went to the SB in year 5. Rivera had 1 bad season with less than 6 wins and was fired during the season. All these coaches saw the NFC Championship. The last 3 have all seen the SB in their career. All were canned after 1 bad season with less than 6 wins. Rhule will have 3 bad seasons. No division championship in sight. No NFC Champ appearance, and no SB appearance. How is Rhule better than any of these previous coaches? It is not even close. He should have never been brought to the NFL and he should have been fired after last season.
  14. Get off the Bryce Young train. He is great for college. Not for the NFL. 2 entirely different styles of game/QB. The defenses in the NFL are easily built to stop or slow the Bryce Young's. If the QB cannot win and control games in the final 4 minutes, they will not be a championship tier QB prospect in the NFL. An NFL QB must be a game manager and a cerebral on field coach that is prepared to execute a 4 minute offense with a high degree of success. The athletic ability, arm strength, and speed are just extras. You won't have an offense in the NFL that will regularly blow out teams or put up 40 plus points in a game. Especially, in the playoffs.
  15. He wants to model the Panthers front office after the Jets.... that is enough to fire him. He has also architected nothing remotely close to a championship roster, and he continues to give away draft capital to reach for players that will have little to no impact in the NFL.
  16. We're closer to Matt Rhule getting fired
  17. The Panthers could still have Cam Newton and be just as good if not better for it instead of going from an injured Cam to Allen to Teddy to Darnold to Baker Baker is a game manager. He is not going to command and win games in the last 4 minutes of a close game on a regular basis. Of Cam, Allen, Teddy, Darnold, and Baker... Cam Newton is the best option to have in the last 4 minutes of a close game if those are the only QBs to choose from. All that draft capital and time used up by the Panthers on QBs while they had the best option from the start. Insanity.
  18. Trading CMC would remind me of the Colts trading Marshall Faulk and moving to Peyton Manning. I would rather be the Rams with Holt, Warner, and Faulk than the Colts with a rookie Peyton Manning. Either way you win a SB at some point though. I'd just prefer to shoot for the dynasty than just a SB.
  19. The players are not bad. The coaches are... especially when they play them out of position. Playing Chinn at FS, Shaq at MLB, Burns in coverage or containment on running downs... Ickey needs to be at guard, BC needs to be at LT, and Elf needs to be cut. Bozeman will be an improvement at center. Moton and Corbett have been good absent their need for Elf.
  20. Winston and Dalton are better than Brissett and Jones. They won't be missing those easy targets with deep WRs getting open.
  21. We have CMC, Moton, Corbett, Bozeman, Ickey (at guard), BC (at LT), Moore (as a 2) to build around on offense. Get a HC and GM who want to work together for a decade. Make sure the HC is capable of competing with the top 10 HCs. Let them find a QB they will sink or swim with for 2 to 3 seasons. Add a young #1 WR in the draft and a pass catching TE. Keep Chinn as SS, Shaq, and McCall as defensive starters. Burns, Luvu, and Brown become specialists and not starters. Draft a MLB to be the heart and brains of the defense. Look for a lock down CB. There is a good stable of young CB depth and serviceable starters in Horn, Henderson, and Jackson. Need a DE, LB, and CB to start who are constant turnover threats for the opposing offense. The team has enough for a quick 2 year turnaround with the right HC/GM duo. That is the positive. Rhule and Fitt have got to go for this to have a chance at being a reality.
  22. Rhule has never made it to 7 consecutive years with any team. Maybe one day he will be able to see if his 7 year theory actually works.
