GM: Rob McCartney. He has done a great job at finding talent and organizing the drafts for the Bucs. He fits with Leftwich and can make for an instant culture change. HC: Byron Leftwich. He can set a winning team culture and give players everything they need to elevate their play. He also knows how to work with all types of personalities and get the most out of everyone while knowing how to coach to his teams strengths. OC: Mark Brunell. The real reason for the Lions offensive success. I see a lot of Bill Walsh qualities in this one. I'd plan on elevating him to HC at some point and trading Leftwich. Same thing I wanted to do with McDermott. A team would have traded for Rivera. DC: Johnny Holland. Went from helping to build the Packers in the 90s to finding and developing Demeco Ryans as a player, leader, and now coach. He doesn't take the credit, but you can always see Ryans leaning on Holland.

Whelp he is here for another week.

Rivera was allowed to win 5 games before Tepper fired him. So, Rhule will be fired after he wins his 5th game in 2025. -
There is only one single hope for this team and Matt Rhule's NFL coaching career - the miracle season formula. Vermeil did it with the Rams in 1999. This should have been the strategy used since the offseason. There is nothing to lose now, so time to get started and go all in. The Panthers will need to go to a spread offense and take 50% of their pass attempts down the field with the game plan of running up the score and allowing the speed of their defense to get after the opposing teams QB. The Panthers have one of the best pass catching RBs in the NFL who can change a game in the open field with CMC. They have the H-Back with good hands in Ricci. They have capable TEs to exploit the underneath seams in a deep zone for 30 more targets and 20 catches this season in Thomas and Tremble. They have the WR to scheme open as the 1b/#2 WR in DJ Moore. They have the #3 WR to stretch the field vertically and pull the safeties across the field deep in Robby Anderson. You need a young unknown QB who can sling it from the pocket and shows little to no fear while staying calm. You need a back up RB that can hold onto the ball and spell CMC just enough for 40 more touches in the season. You need a young unknown WR with the ability to make plays and has great hands that can be featured as a #1a and be paired with a #1b as the #2 WR that most defenses will scheme for while letting the unknown receiver find one on one match-ups. You need a vet #4 WR/TE with hands and route running ability that will allow them to get open by exploiting the deep pockets of the zone. I wanted Desmond Ridder, Treylon Burks (1a WR), Ameer Abdullah, and Jarvis Landry (#4 WR) in the offseason to fill these miracle season roles. If I had to go out and fill these roles immediately with the possibility of results, I would go get Aqeel Glass QB, Dai'Jean Dixon 1a WR, David Johnson #2 RB, and Brandon Zylstra #4 WR. (Glass and Dixon have good chemistry and Dixon is a reliable receiver with big hands and playmaking ability.) What would you do as GM to fill these 4 voids and take this drop to your knees hail mary shot at blowing the top off the NFL in the 2022 season? You have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain!

Darnold when he had Arnold? Baker doesn't have Arnold. I think you missed that whole receiving TE factor. Thomas and Tremble are not even close to Arnold. Remember when coaches thought Tremble was ready to replace Arnold as the starter? Darnold was targeting Arnold 4 times a game in his 3-0 start. Then came the Arnold trade. Darnold went from a 60% passer to a 40% passer. I'm sure Baker would like to have a receiving TE. Ian Thomas was never it and the front office should feel the pain for that decision. BTW, they both stink. They won't consistently win close games in the 4th quarter when the team falls behind.

There are free agent undrafted players from this past draft that are better than Baker, Hubbard, Shi, and Thomas.
-
No Darnold. Just start cycling through undrafted QBs until you find one that can consistently win on plays at the NFL level. give them 3 games each. Not looking for wins. Looking for the ability to win and command a team while coming prepared on Sunday to work the opposing defense. Aqeel Glass, Jack Coan, Kaleb Eleby, Chris Oladokun, Cole Kelley, Chase Garbers, EJ Perry, Carson Strong... Line em up!

When will you all start taking my advice? lol Tired of sitting through years of Gettleman and Rhule while I have to watch Beane and McDermott leave. Shut the door on Rhule now! Imagine having Gettleman as GM and Rhule as HC?

Anyone want to post Rhule's updated record when scoring 17 or fewer points in a game? Then explain to me why he keeps up with his game plan to slow play the opposing team and try to win it in the 4th quarter with a QB who will rarely produce a GWD? Opposing coaches are just going to keep rolling out this same game plan until he proves he can be effective in winning a close defensive game in the 4th quarter. -

Tepper's expertise is bankrupting a business and figuring out how to turn it into capital. It shows here as the Panthers owner. -

Nothing is wrong with the Broncos. Derek Carr is going to pull out 3 of every 10 games the Raiders coaches, defense and running game collapse in. The Raiders will have at least 5 wins in the season because they have Derek Carr even if the rest of the team can never control or counter another team in the NFL. -

I keep pointing it out until someone realizes how easy it is to spot a QB who can win in the NFL. Baker is an 18% game winning QB Darnold is an 11% game winning QB Bridgewater is a 19% game winning QB These skills are set in from HS to college reps. They convert to the NFL and will always be lower than what they did in college. 30% is the minimum I will consider. If the QB is on a bad team, I expect 40%. Not that hard to find a QB that can win. Other than that is is coaching and system. -

That is what an edge pass rusher should do on batted balls at the line. Take note Brian Burns. Keep your eye on the ball. Not sure what you are looking at half the time. -

Every NFL coach comes with the same game plan against Rhule. Have a 4 minute offense ready and slow play the Panthers for 3 quarters to keep the score low. Cardinals obviously have plays ready to go to expose the Panthers defense. They are just going to use them in the 2nd half if they are trailing or closing the game out at the end of the 4th quarter. If this Panthers offense cannot produce more than 17 points a game, this team needs to change leadership/culture. -

Aqeel Glass, Cooper Rush, Brett Rypien, Shane Buechele, Tyler Huntley, Jack Coan, Nick Mullens, or John Wolford. I'd take the combo of Kyle Allen/Taylor Heinicke over Baker/Darnold. Most of these QBs are 1 injury from starting in the NFL and none of them are drafted. Andy Reid keeps hiding Buechele on their roster. -

Bringing in 3 undrafted QBs is a better plan than swinging for the fences with these failed 1st round QBs -
