Watkins tried to push off without extending his arm 3 times on that route lol

Niners defense needs to create turnovers
-
If ulnar nerve, pinky and ring finger will go numb. Forearm will have less strength. His deep passes will be off by 15 feet at best and he will float balls past 10 yards. Purdy has no control over that outside of knowing his limitations. The receiver would need to be all alone to have a good shot at a catch.

This is where legends are made. What the 49ers going to pull together? Eagles are just going to run the clock down and take the occasional big play shot.

Josh Johnson's athletic instincts are garbage in the pocket
-
Coaching 101 with replay. Call a TO to give yourself more time with flag in hand and delay by talking to officials. Challenge play and refs give TO back. If Shanahan's replay team tells him it is a catch, then use the TO to regroup the defense. The challenge would get called and the review would overturn the catch. Leads to a punt and no score for the Eagles. Shanahan messed up bad on that one.

49ers mistakes have spotted the Eagles 14 points. SMH Kyle Shanahan and Josh Johnson are the Eagles MVPs so far.
-
That hurt. 49ers making too many mistakes and just giving garbage points to the Eagles.
-
Take the penalties to slow down the Eagles 2nd quarter offensive blitz scripted game plan. Eagles win by scoring 20+ points in the 2nd quarter. Keeping them to 1 score in the 2nd quarter and having the last 2 minutes of the 1st half for your offense is a win. 49ers just burned the Eagles most productive offensive game plan this season with those penalties.
-
This is how the Eagles win. They script the 2nd quarter to go big play ball and risk it all. Try to catch the other DC off guard scoring 20+ points before the half. If the 49ers can limit them to a single scoring drive in the 2nd quarter, win Demeco Ryans. Slow the Eagles down in the 2nd quarter and take the penalties or better... try to get away with penalites on defense

It's easy to replace CMC is what I am told. Foreman could have done that. Foreman, TMJ, Tremble, Hubbard and Taylor for CMC and setting up a conference opponent to be a playoff obstacle for Frank Reich? Panthers definitely won this trade!

How can a catch be great when it was a bad call or missed call. Physics say it was not a catch. Bad judgement by officials and coaches say it was a catch. How is that great? A great phantom catch maybe. Good sell and execution of getting the next play off.
-
I think they are just testing him out to see if he could come in if Johnson gets injured. He was throwing some. I doubt we see Purdy unless they make something happen with the medical at half time.
-
Well that huge coaching mistake to not challenge or call a TO and discuss the challenge with the officials before challenging is unforgivable in the playoffs. He needs to hope his team bails him out.
-
So many Eagles players on the field without their helmet on. No DJ Moore, no flag I guess lol.
-
Jobe should have been ejected
-
Ray Ray McCloud and Eli Apple too
-
Yep. Pay someone millions to not challenge that in a critical game. 49ers coaches and officials just spotted the Eagles 7 points. At least call a TO and then challenge. They've given back those TOs before in that situation.
-
Remove your poo from my post please lol. I saw that all the way.

49ers coach screwed up
-
He didn't. Bottom of ball hit ground and he body caught with his hands coming off the ball after it hit the ground. 49ers coaches messed up.

These 1st round picks get so many chances to fail with multiple teams. Complete waste. If a 6th round pick were to play like Fields, he would have been gone and forgotten after year one. Brady and Purdy never stand a chance if they'd perform like Fields or Darnold in their first year as a starter. Case Keenum and Brian Hoyer are better than Fields in their 30s. Go get Cooper Rush or Taylor Heinicke in their prime. Forget about Fields and Lance. Let other teams do the Darnold/Mayfield 1st round failure experiment with them.
-
What if I told you a higher percentage of 6th round or later QBs get to the playoffs more than 1st round picks? What if you found out 1st round QBs win the SB for the coach and team that drafted them at the same rate as 6th round to undrafted QBs? Now, I will offer you a deeper pool of candidates to choose from with less competition. You can also develop them at your own pace. And for all this, I will offer you an elite skilled position player, 5 star defensive playmaker, or 4 extra mid round picks to pair with your QB of choice. You still want that 1st round QB with a top 15 pick?
-
Is that your goal with a #1 pick? Experience? A show? Short of winning a single SB, that is a bad pick. All that draft capital and cap space wasted when you can get the same production from handing the keys to a 6th round to undrafted QB. A #1 QB no one wants after 8 years in the NFL? Not even the fans of his own team. Reich is about to show us how it's done with Eason and Foles.
