If Wilks and Darnold stay, we expect playoffs. If Reich and Young step in, we expect to be at the bottom of the league. So, why did the Panthers break the bank on coaches and a QB? Is it for a championship team? Is it for a dynasty? Well most of those teams win out of the gate in year 1. At most, they have 2 years to burn for losing records. Are we to think the probability of being a champion increases by burning one of those losing seasons in year 1? We were told this is not a rebuild. These were improvements. If we are good with this being a rebuild, we know the likelihood is one, or both, of Reich and Young will be gone for the next shot at a championship team.

It's preseason. They don't come out here to block and execute offensive plays. Why show all your cards? It's all part of the bigger plan.

I understand even better now how Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold had no issue with the Evero defense.

Bruh!! I've seen Collins, Beuerlein, Lewis, Weinke, Peete, Delhomme, Clausen, Newton, Bridgewater, Darnold and Mayfield in new offenses with coaches that were rookie HCs. This is at the bottom for all preseasons. They are running max pro in the preseason. This is the definition of a team that is not prepared. That goes for all new coaches and systems. You need to watch some of the other new coaches, defenses, and their rookie QBs in preseason. This is awful.

It's just preseason. They won't look like this in September. No way an NFL team would look like this in the regular season.

I think this is the worst preseason I have seen, and I have seen them all.
