LB: Micah Parsons, Shaq Thompson & Jeremy Chinn. S: Markquese Bell. CB: Stephon Gilmore & Coby Bryant. (West Coast Offense) QB: Brock Purdy. RB: CMC. TE: Jelani Woods WR: Garrett Wilson, DJ Moore & Michael Wilson. OL: Zach Tom, Trey Smith, Jamaree Salyer, Dawand Jones & Taylor Moton. Note: Other QBs that would have been drafted/signed to compete with Purdy since 2021. Shane Buechele, Desmond Ridder, Aqeel Glass, Jack Coan, Aidan O'Connell & Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Is this better than the Panthers FO current roster build? I avoid 1st round QBs unless they meet 5 criteria (very rare). Dual threat freak athletes at the skill position are 1st round priority & if none are available, 1st round is hybrid DT/LB/S who can dominate in the box. Trade down out of the top 20 picks is the 3rd option & go best available TE/EDGE/QB late 1st/early 2nd. All OL are day 3 draft picks for me. CBs are free agents or 3rd to 7th round in the draft. That's how I want to see a roster built. My 2nd team would be better than the current Panthers roster. This FO is horrible.

Burns has always been a situational pass rusher that should have never been taken in the 1st round. Dexter Lawrence was my pick. Wanted Hunter Renfrow from Clemson too. I could give you my 80 man draft lists over the years & they've performed better than our front office. Those draft lists include late round picks & UDFAs. Burns & Brown should have been traded. Not CMC & DJ Moore.

He made his billions by picking losers. He's very good at that. Not sure that is a good attribute for any sports league.

Young is on his way to setting the pick 6 record. No 1st round QB has ever done that. Not even David Carr!

They bracketed Mingo and baited Young. Cowboys defense was sitting on that out route knowing if Young read immediate coverage over the middle he'd bail on his desperayely needed passing lanes and stare down the out route. Young is awful at adjusting to NFL zone defenses.

Can we trade Bryce Young for Trey Lance?

Young is not him Ekwonu is not him Horn is not him Brown is not him Burns is not him Is it easy to see why this franchise is struggling? A decade of front office implosion with a brief glimpse of front office success before Tepper took over. Moore was him (a great #2 option) CMC was him (top RB in the NFL) They were shipped off in exchange for a dumpster fire. Butler was a bust, Thompson has been good, and Benjamin was a bust.

I'm saying we could have a better team if this is what the Panthers succeed at instead of putting it all in Bryce.

That means don't let Young factor into the red zone and rely on runs and quick 1 yard passes. Don't let the OL pass block.

Sam Darnold/Teddy Bridgewater style red zone QB play. Did we really need to give up that much for a QB who has to lean on Wilks ball in the red zone?
