  1. There is only 1 QB on the roster with championship potential and his name is Cam Truth
  2. Need 5 offensive players to build around... Panthers have Cam and CMC. Need 4 defensive players to build around... Chinn at SS and Thompson at OLB Need a HC that can compete with the best coaches in the NFL Need a coach who can fill in 5 critical pieces and the Panthers can be competitive in 2 years. The one thing the Panthers have plenty of is top talent in role players. Just not the core and leadership to be a champion.
  3. When Rivera was replaced by Rhule, this is what I expected. No leadership and a college playbook with a gaslighting coach. The outcome does not surprise me, and I still watch on with hope that he will eventually figure things out to get to Rivera's level before 6 years in the NFL as a HC.
  4. Fans were tired of a Rivera coached team that was only playoff potential and lacking the top end championship coaching for the SB. So, they latched on to hope. Nothing more hopeful than the possibility of a rising star from the college ranks. Reality is there was nothing better than Rivera available. Gettleman wanting Rhule should have been a red flag to stay away.
  5. No question in my mind. Rivera and Fox would have the talent level on this team in the playoffs. Not sure how deep they go, but losing seasons like this wouldn't be happening with this talent.
  6. So, you're saying the coaches should have ever allowed for the option of a pass to be thrown short of the sticks in a 4th and 1 situation. I agree. I also think the coaches should have never run a shotgun read option on 4th and 1. Just as bad if not worse than calling up a pass option short of the sticks.
  7. The most likely success on that play was the bubble. Cam made the right call. The throw was bad, and the block by Zylstra was bad. There was no shot at a zone read to develop from the shotgun with that defense. Rhule must think the Bills have college level defensive players pressing the LoS. Rhule thinking that play was remotely blocked up well enough to succeed with a handoff tells you all you need to know about his coaching level. Go back to school Rhule.
  8. Hey, Rhule! So, who actually made a block on this play? I see about 4 defenders running free around their blocks and Ian Thomas laying himself on the ground to give the outside defender and easy look into the backfield. There are 3 to 4 Bills 2 yards in the backfield in half a second. Not to mention Zylstra doesn't even attempt to block on a bubble screen where there is only 1 defender on an island. Yeah, looks like that was all Cam's fault you idiot of a coach. Not even smart enough to go to study the tape before you comment on that play. Moron.
  9. So, why does a coach give the QB an option to throw the screen when the LoS is loaded, and then blame the QB for the coach allowing the option to a screen when the defense is loaded up on the LoS. It was a 4th and 1. Bills defense loaded the LoS. Coach had Newton in the shotgun for a zone read run play. That zone read run play in the shotgun on 4th and 1 had no chance to deveolp. Newton knew it. Coach allowed to option to a screen, which had a better chance at success and was still a garbage option. Play calling was garbage on that 4th and 1. Don't blame a QB when you put him in that position. QB sneak. Power run if your OL is so good. Quick out or swing if the CBs are playing off or cheating in. That college garbage 4th and 1 play calling wont work in the NFL. Coach put QB in a no win 4th and 1 and blamed the QB for not developing a zone read from the shotgun with the entire defense pressed up to the line. I think we all knew that play was a loss when we saw the shotgun followed by a timeout only to go right back to the shotgun.
  10. Efe Obada, you should take credit for that comment to Tre! McDermott was clearly disgusted with Rhule's coaching.
  11. Rhule would blame me for holding my hand in the boiling water too long, and that is why I got burned when he told me to put my hand in the boiling water.
  12. Name me a QB better than Cam that won't need to be groomed for 3 years? There aren't many good options at QB. I wanted Carson Wentz. When I see a better option at QB than Cam available, I will let you know. Coaching upgrade is much easier than a QB upgrade over Cam atm. My offensive core 5 I wanted to be building around in 2021 were Carson Wentz (trade), CMC (draft), Jonathan Taylor (draft), Hunter Henry (draft), and Stefon Diggs (draft). I didn't get it my way, but I enjoy watching the players I wanted the Panthers to select succeed in the NFL. I would have stayed with Newton if I couldn't get Wentz. Instead, we ended up with Gross-Matos, Vernon Butler, and Devin Funchess. Glad we have Abdullah now. I wanted him in the draft as a compliment on offense and special teams.
  13. Can we not even talk about the draft until Rhule and Fitt are gone? The draft and offseason won't change a thing with those two fools running the show.
  14. Fitt and Rhule went all in this season to win now. They aren't smart enough to compete against the best coaches and GMs in this league.
  15. That was Cam's decision since Rhule wouldn't end the game. Gift for a former teammate.
  16. Former Panthers telling current Panthers at midfield... glad I followed McDermott and Beane. GL with Rhule and Fitt.
  17. Looks like McDermott hates to see what the Panthers have become under Rhule...
  18. Panthers still in the playoff hunt for 2 more minutes. Enjoy the excitement of the playoff hunt...
  19. Obada and Addison look like some good all around defensive players. Wish the Panthers had some DL players like them.
  20. HS OLs are taught to keep the DLs hands down. Especially if they are pushed back into the QB. No clue why these overpaid pros can't get those hands down consistently.
