A lot of y’all hated Cam. Let’s keep it a buck. -
He hasn’t played above his situation. But I ask you when is the last time a QB has looked good with Frank as the HC?
-
The best way to describe it is he hasn’t been perfect. In this scheme, with this offense, anticipation doesn’t matter if guys aren’t where they’re supposed to be. It’s a reason why AT gets all of the targets after being ran out of Minnesota. How much adversity did Purdy face last night?
-
Josh Allen would have to run a lot more on this team and would find some success. Same with Jalen. You’d probably see a lot more read option stuff with those guys. Pat wouldn’t let Frank call the shitty ass plays. Would probably just take over the offense

I gamble bro. Trust me I’m watching everything. Pull up one of those charts again. Brock is throwing to wide open targets and beautifully designed screens. Kudos to him for executing, but you could plug a lot of guys into that offense. Clean pockets, dynamic playmakers, offensive genius calling plays. He’s playing a different position out there.
-
I mean at this point if you want to continue to find fault with your rookie QB then you can do that. Definitely you’re right as a fan. Can’t tell you how to cope with rooting for this sorry ass team. But it’s alot more fun to be a believer.

Purdy can’t complete any throws that aren’t wide open windows. He has an embarrassment of riches around him. This is the same system that once made Jimmy G the highest paid player in NFL history. We won’t find out how good Purdy is until he gets off that contract and the talent around him shrinks.
-
I find it interesting that alot of people have been saying he doesn’t have the arm strength to throw outside. A lot of throws to the outside here. 0 completions behind the line of scrimmage. More passes down the field. Yea we lost, but he pretty much answered the criticisms of his chart last week.
-
You honestly can’t say this for a few years. Remember RG3? His backup that was drafted the same year as he was just beat us last week and he’s calling games. Don’t be so quick to take that victory lap.
-
That’s fair.
-
I didn’t jump ship. I’m riding with the guy on the roster. If CJ was here and struggling and Bryce was having a good season in Houston I’d be saying all of the same things about CJ. Just doesn’t make sense to dwell on it.
-
You going to do this for how long? Plenty of room on that Texans bandwagon trust me.
-
How old are you? I ask because you might want to find a new team so you don’t waste the next decade rooting for a team with a QB you don’t like.
-
Ehhh football is a cause and effect sport. If Miles doesn’t fumble then maybe we go down and tie the game and everything is different. Was clearly pressing on that 2nd pick after the turnover.
-
I think you should.
-
It’s a hard no.
-
The score of the game isn’t the point. The point is he made the plays. A lot of folks here didn’t think he could do that. He made some terrible mistakes early in the game, but he’s 22 years old. Goff was one of those QBs that also struggled early on. Let the kid develop. It’s clear we aren’t going to win many games or any games so the rest of the season should just be about his growth.

Oh so now it’s a team game lol
-
Garbage time when it’s their guy. Take in the positives when it’s your guy.
-
I still think Bryce can be a star. It’s just going to take more time than most have patience for. If he can make more throws like that one then maybe you guys will live with some of his rookie mistakes.
-
Teams starting to use as practice.
-
This is such a bad football team. I honestly don’t know if there’s anyone worth keeping. I’d start by firing Frank on Monday and giving Bryce the rest of the season to earn a job next year.
-
Alright. Have at it. Tear it down. Done with every aspect of this team.
