  1. 100% he looks like a rookie QB on a bad offense. He doesn’t look incapable. That trade wasn’t made to make the Panthers Super Bowl contenders this year. It’s about the long term.
  2. Since I realized how bad we are in the first game of the season, this season will be about the 3 game stretch after the bye. We’ll be facing 3 QBs (pending AR being back) we passed over and a #1 WR we traded away. If we don’t go at least 2-1 in that stretch then I fire Frank.
  3. This is the first time I’ve seen him graded in the “bottom 5”. I don’t put any stock into PFF either way.
  4. Wtf is going on. I actually find Mr. Scot likeable all of a sudden.
  5. I’d never thought I’d see the day where I’d be appreciating a Mr. Scot post. Well said sir.
  6. There’s not a game this season that Andy would have won. Just let that go. This is a bad football team and we’re talking about Andy fuging Dalton. It’s like Derek Anderson all over again. What it’s wrong with y’all.
  7. Eh so many of these guys inherited shitty situations that it’s hard to compare. Let’s see who wins the first Super Bowl.
  8. I let the huddle sell me on him as a coach. I’m not a big fan of hiring coaches that were just fired. At least need to sit out a year or two and regroup. There’s just too many innovative guys who deserve a shot.
  9. I honestly don’t know if that’s the truth, but in the first few games it was clear that Mingo wasn’t where Bryce thought he should be a few times.
  10. Omg every week it’s some new blunder with this dude. Gotta just fire him now and cut your loses.
  11. I think you’re probably looking at Bryce through that lens so that’s what you’ll always see. Wins and losses aside he’s probably going to end the year with stats comparable to some guys who turned out pretty good.
  12. Every single QB in this league is as good or as bad as the situation around them. What rookie QB has ever come in and put a bad team on their back? You know there are college QBs older than Bryce? Enjoy the ride man.
  13. He hasn’t played above his situation. But I ask you when is the last time a QB has looked good with Frank as the HC?
  14. The best way to describe it is he hasn’t been perfect. In this scheme, with this offense, anticipation doesn’t matter if guys aren’t where they’re supposed to be. It’s a reason why AT gets all of the targets after being ran out of Minnesota. How much adversity did Purdy face last night?
  15. Josh Allen would have to run a lot more on this team and would find some success. Same with Jalen. You’d probably see a lot more read option stuff with those guys. Pat wouldn’t let Frank call the shitty ass plays. Would probably just take over the offense
  16. I gamble bro. Trust me I’m watching everything. Pull up one of those charts again. Brock is throwing to wide open targets and beautifully designed screens. Kudos to him for executing, but you could plug a lot of guys into that offense. Clean pockets, dynamic playmakers, offensive genius calling plays. He’s playing a different position out there.
  17. I mean at this point if you want to continue to find fault with your rookie QB then you can do that. Definitely you’re right as a fan. Can’t tell you how to cope with rooting for this sorry ass team. But it’s alot more fun to be a believer.
  18. Purdy can’t complete any throws that aren’t wide open windows. He has an embarrassment of riches around him. This is the same system that once made Jimmy G the highest paid player in NFL history. We won’t find out how good Purdy is until he gets off that contract and the talent around him shrinks.
  19. I find it interesting that alot of people have been saying he doesn’t have the arm strength to throw outside. A lot of throws to the outside here. 0 completions behind the line of scrimmage. More passes down the field. Yea we lost, but he pretty much answered the criticisms of his chart last week.
