  1. I'd prefer Bryce Young. He's small but he's so elusive and heady.
  2. Thought he said a coaching job with a good, established QB is the unicorn? Edit: Point has already been made by multiple others. Carry on
  3. Cheap clickbait there by ESPN. It's not about his height. It's about the Browns D-line being really good and Joe Wood building his line's game plan around getting their hands up if they can't get home. He was probably staring his receivers down a little because his playbook knowledge isn't quite there yet.
  4. I see your reasoning, but the run defense was bad from the first snap.
  5. This was my thought too. Baker was out of rhythm with most of the offense in the first half. But the run defense is the biggest culprit.
  6. Not from me. The Browns do have a great running game, but you should expect to lose just about any game where you allow 200+ yards rushing.
  7. My wife went to Florida the same time as Pineiro. She said he's really good.
  8. Trying to make Rock Hill whole by selling their land and giving them the proceeds.
  9. It was a cool sequence. Guarantee I could not have hit that net if I had 1000 tries. Accurate throw
  10. If Matt or Sam is truly better than Baker, then yes go with the best one. However, I don't believe for a second that Baker wouldn't win that competition, with Matt coming in second.
  11. My only response to the article's author: LOL whatever. It sounds like a fan who was having a bad day wrote this.
  12. I agree with your general point, but you feel a lot stronger than I do about it. I just wish he'd keep his thoughts to himself occasionally.
  13. Won't be going. I guess we re-upped for Spartanburg for a reason, but I think they're asking for someone to get hurt. The heat in Charlotte has been brutal this summer. Spartanburg is going to be like an oven. I wish they were doing camp at an indoor practice field.
  14. I supported trading for him, but this is objectively true - at least it was when he was a draft prospect. I know someone in media whose professional duties included some interactions with him. She said he was one of the rudest and most self-important athletes she ever interacted with, and she has worked with a lot of them. She has spoken glowingly of Kobe, LeBron, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, The Golden Calf of Bristol, Shaq, Charles Barkley, and others. He thought she was beneath him because he was going to be drafted No. 1 and she wasn't. To this day my acquaintance dislikes Baker.
  15. IMO he wasn't ready, but he also did get scapegoated. I still believe Rhule canned him because Tepper was going to fire Rhule if he didn't fire someone.
  16. 1 to a 5. We still have Matt Rhule coaching. I'd love for him to prove me wrong but I still think he is out of his league in the NFL.
  17. This is my perception too. This is why Rhule didn't really want to sign Cam last year and then sent him straight to the bench the moment Sam was cleared.
  18. Good. As it should be. Sports owners have bent cities over the table for way too long. Even if it means losing the Panthers. There are so many bigger issues to fund right now than a goddamn new practice facility for a football team.
  19. fug yes Steelers took Pickett so now we can't
  20. If he's serious about Rhule getting at least 5 years...idk
  21. IMO Kyler's only goal is to make the most money possible in the shortest amount of time. He merely sees football as a way to make that happen. I don't think he has much passion for the game. That's why he decided on the NFL instead of baseball. He could get paid faster.
  22. The way Rhule treated Cam down the stretch of the season, IMO it's not surprising at all. I think he didn't care for him as a coach, and I don't think Rhule can handle a guy with Cam's personality.
  23. Your only point I agree with is people should stop with the personal insults against him. Calling Rhule fat isn't productive. Otherwise, yes Tepper is ultimately "responsible" for the hire but that does not make Rhule innocent of his own problems.
