  1. We need to spread it early downs, misdirect on 3rds. Brady seems backwards after the first two drives. Texans adjusted, he needs to twerk.
  2. Time to react very instantly and very intensely! Hope he’s okay
  3. From the easternly side of this place we call home An Easterby fudge steps out of his sh*thole It's H-town! The worst realm in all of the land The basketball, football all join in the bland No more beards, no more weirds, no more good teams to flop with the tears Hidden, covert, avoiding the looks They scurry to peddle with Christ fearing hoofs Now from the afar, comes the Pantherian dawn Encroaching from a neatly cut Charlottetown lawn The Mills will get wrecked, yes, their Mills will get checked, by our dearest most daunting Sam Mills effect And the men led by Sam & Dan (...and Zanie Zan Zane) will lead us to the next...
  4. That is the feeling I get, when I look to the west. It makes you wonder...
  5. We haven't even had a ton of splashy big time plays but I find myself seeking Panthers vids and highlights 10X more since probably 2017. Maybe even earlier than that. I think we've put the right guys in place. The OL and QB spots still have a magnifier on them but it's looked better than expected thus far after feeling so deflated with two-gloves.
  6. The part I really like is when we sack the quarterback and he’s like “oh no! I’ve been sacked” Talk about a French Revolution
  7. I will not passively say I was right about anything..so far, just straight up: -I was wrong that Bayless or Saunders could beat Zylstra. -Was not thinking Darnold would be this confident this early. -I thought the Bronco Sport was gonna at least be okay and not a pansy wagon.
  8. It's because we secretly kept Nakamura on the squad and disguise him as an opposing team's positional coach with hidden mics on their sideline. Then before they even know it, he dissolves into a million tiny augmented realty Panthers.
  9. We just have so much quickness on defense. And it's not offset my them being soft. We're large, athletic, quick as hell. And Shaq has really shown a second life. If we take care of the Texans, the Boys matchup is going to be super telling where we are given their weaponry. That's the crux of that article when they bring up getting a pre-snap reader like Dak. I'm interested to see how much we can get to him and if we can collapse their line. Nothing is finer than seeing a 4 man or less front just dismantling 5 OLs ass backwards into their QB.
  10. But he's trying really really hard and doing his best darnit!
  11. We could IR him and release once the time is up if he truly f*cks up. That'll be when we just elevate Eberle until another waiver wire pickup like Verity (BAL) can happen. Maintains just 1 active K spot. And we get to cycle/try out another one or two in Zane, Eberley, and then a new signing. My top wish is Zane doesn't work and we're in contention in a few weeks/4-0: Lirim Hajrullahu the man. I can hear Mick Mixon saying it now: "The kick is up, and through the upright, in! Hallelujah, Hajrullahu!"
  12. The Charlotte Catholic model and gamecock dingus starting this dialogue is all you need to know. Next
  13. I mean, by next year Brady C. needs to be our LG. That's his best potential position IMO. Maybe RT. If he's not, then we'll no doubt need one. Won't be a good sign. And also need an LT, and C, and maybe an RG depending on Miller/Brown
  14. He gave off Jake-Smitty vibes with Terry McLauren.
  15. Boone, BW, Banner Elk, Sugar, Beech, that whole area is it's own thing along 221 and 183. Heck even Cashiers near the border has some nice spots but there are the older WNC; I know what areas you're alluding to in saying WNC.
  16. Pretty much every fan base hates their OL. This isn’t unique but we are one of a handful that have starters who were glaring weaknesses going into the season so they will be the first ones called out. OL is the easiest to snap judgement and at the same time, you can’t easily replace them. An ongoing struggle for many an NFL team.
  17. I mean, if you suck enough to get released on your rookie 1st round contract, get two franchise fanbases to turn on you, and look like crap in preseason and now week one for your 3rd team in 2.5 years, yeah..you will be disliked.
  18. Offensive guards average 315 to 325 Lbs. Deonte conditioned his but off and worked down from 364 to 330. I believe our guys are being too metric-based and letting certain things cloud their judgement. I'd at least want Brady C., you know, the 3rd rounder we traded up for with a 1st round guard grade on him, to you know, contribute. This is getting really frustrating really quick at important positions when so much of the team has oodles of awesome dripping from the talons.
  19. Fans need to keep the chant up regardless. I thought is was a cool tradition with the drum and all; brought a uniqueness and culture to the team. But those intros seemed terribly coordinated because the focus was all on the augmented reality stuff.
  20. Very impressed with Brown dropping that much weight and looking as ferocious as he has. There is absolutely no reason Daley and/or Elflein should be beating both of these guys out at the guard spots. Maybe if Daley was at LG. I just don't get how they're so turned around on evaluating this OL. I get that we're fans, couch gms, whatever, but it is pretty damn obvious, no? Erving-Christensen-Paradis-Brown-Moton GOOOO
  21. Not smart to be so unresolved at the kicking position. They win you games. HUUUUUGE miss on not getting this at least squared away for an average situation.
  22. Yeah he needs to step it up. A win is a win but I have to say offensive play calls were the biggest weakness today.
