  1. This is a draft where people will bash it but 2-3 starters are in it. Just don’t know who yet. I wish Carson Strong didn’t have the knee history because I think he checks just about every box. Buuut Teams will be wary of his injuries. Pickett is rocketing, looks good and I think Howell could be worth the shot. That UNC team is asking him to do everything. It’s not a season where you can judge off the stat sheet with him. Which is still not bad by any means. He still makes TDs and big time throws under a ton of pressure this season. (This is me being a non ACC guy/Pac12er) Ridder, Raddler, Slovis are the 3 I’m just unsure about. I won’t pretend I can judge the comp level to talent with Willis but he sure is interesting.
  2. In conclusion, CJ Beathard & Carson Strong shall battle it out in 2022
  3. What is this? Football? Cosmic creature prancing on a floating ball in a void of voids. Here we are. Is it an awakening resonance of an macro being teaching itself to awaken in a multitude of beings? Or is it elves. Elves manipulating the consciousness towards novelty and love? Or is it a WIN against the Giants? I say it is! I say we still look dull but pull out a win. Quicker than a pullout at a 1985 New Jersey prom. I ain’t no Don. Go Panthers I love you all (mostly)
  4. Statue is being polite but a damn pretty deep ball.
  5. I’m saying the blame goes all around while noting what I see in Darnold recently. He has guts and some good drives but looks bad more of the time after some fun starts to the year. Don’t get the hate for saying a bad offense had a bad day. He’s part of it, today not the culprit for the loss, but he hasn’t been good.
  6. We were gloating about going into the playoffs way too early this year. They're tripping on their dicks.
  7. He has the head coaching gene, but I'm just a bit pessimistic it's an NFL caliber one. He's really well suited for the college ranks. Doesn't seem to pick the right staff. He's all about the atmosphere and intangibles but not so much with the tangibles.
  8. We haven't had a competent offense since the Cam-TJ Watt game. That was the franchise's tipping point. And prior, it was in spite of coaching and schemes. I'm just really amazed we haven't been able to produce a volume offense that can get into the endzone prior to being forced into aggressive mode in the 4th. We had 87 passing yards before Sam had to start just launching them at the end in the comeback. I'm just ready to be be one of these spread pass heavy offenses, thought that was what Brady was bringing in but it's a weird one we have in place. I want to know how involved Rhule is in Brady's work or if he's more of a HC who let's Joe and Snow do their thing. Just disappointed we have such a bad offense
  9. The counter argument regarding the drops is frustrating. It doesn't mean he still didn't suck the past 3 weeks. Are we ignoring the game setting INT? Or the early miss on the wide open DJ for an easy bomb? He's good at rolling out yet bad at improv. He doesn't read the field as well as you'd like to see. Jittery. Yes, a lot of these are because of NYJ and the OL we're giving him, but still, we're just all sorts of discombobulated from coaching to line play to dropsies to the man behind center. Bad offense all around
  10. I'm not solely blaming Brady. As mentioned, I'm leaning towards this after the season has unfolded. WRs had an off day, doesn't discount the rest.
  11. This is where I've been moving towards after seeing this season unfold.
  12. Suck it out, draft someone. Don't think there's much trade prospects, Rodgers isn't coming here, no more reclamation projects. We've got slim pickings.
  13. My enthusiasm for Rhule as a coach has dwindled. Fitterer and the Defense are the only things that really seem legitimate. The offense has never clicked since Rhule began at an NFL level and the ST (minus the one block today) has been bottom barrel awful. Today has been a big changing point for me. Combination of playcalls, choices for offensive starters, and execution is bewildering.
  14. I honestly think we'd be in better shape with Kyle Allen still here for nada cashola
  15. Probably. He wasn't the first or second option. We clearly wanted Watson before the massage debacle, then offered a ton for Stafford (he didn't want to come here), and then after looking at the draft prospects, decided meh, sh*t, guess we have to go with Darnold.
  16. When was the last time we had under 100 yards passing in a game?
  17. 80 passing yards, we have Moore, Marshall, Anderson, a healthy Shi. And oh man the interior was just manhandled for that strip sack.
  18. It is definitely near 2010 bad. Problem was in 2010, we kinda knew we would be bad. This was our promising OC's second year to develop this offense, we just spent the majority of picks on the offensive side. Just poor offensive building.
  19. Yep. Line has held today. Excuse are running out for Brady & Sam when the line is able to hold the front. It's becoming inexcusable how poorly this offense operates.
  20. He's having some of the worst stat lines since Clausen. It's bad. Bridgewater was getting us nowhere but Darnold is taking us in reverse...and off the cliff. Ciao
  21. Yeah it is honestly time for Brady to show his worth OL woes aside. A team that can’t get passing TDs at a decent volume this day is not solely because of a bad interior line.
  22. Might as well see what Michael Jordan can do at LG and Deonte at RG. It's not like Jordan has no starting experience and Deonte, we're just waiting on that one. But Miller and Daley's play is simply unacceptable. I really thought they were going to be more competent but it seems they just can't cut the mustard and it's become a sh*t sandwich.
  23. I think combo but agree. It's not that Darnold doesn't go through reads but if his first read isn't there, it's like he has this jitter bug nature to him on deciding where to go. Yes, we have an OL situation but even in his clean pockets, he doesn't seem to see the whole field. He's one, two, three, rather than more a field scanning the field approach with anticipation. The fact that Marshall, Robby, and our TEs production has fallen off so much is telling we're trying to cater this offense to his benefit but now that defenses have responded, it's time to respond on offense...and we haven't been. We really need to see him reading the field better and distributing to the right guys at the right time.
