  1. Still waiting for like anything to be shown from him during an actual game. His best moments were mostly Wandale last year and a handful of dimes that have been dropped since. I'm sure you can dig up some decent stuff this year but man, it's been UGLY as of late. Never say never with guys with those tools, but he has two glaring concerns (1) age (2) no apparent in-game intangibles/"omg" type plays. He just doesn't seem to find the moment to make big plays happen. I don't see him utilizing these great tools he apparently has. Allen at least showed off his legs and arm a lot in college. The velocity on his balls was absolutely insane, just a bezerk arm. You saw him tease what could be built upon. I am just rarely seeing that type of stuff from Levis. Sure, its the system, but there's a lot left to be desired. Then you look at some of the other higher upside guys and they look just as good, if not better. Not many have a bigger arm than Levis' though so that's what teams may be coming back to with him. But you need to hit the ground running with him and I just don't see it. Who knows, maybe he somehow looks okay today. But I doubt it.
  2. Shut it Dave! You shut your whore mouth.
  3. That dribble has 2.25 million subscribers? What are we raising?
  4. 100%. If we don't land a good coach, nothing will matter. This next hire is critical. If it's a dud, Pantherland will be fluttering away like a bojangles fart in the wind.
  5. Both Hackett and Wilson have just been a trainwreck. That offense is one of the most brutal things to ever witness.
  6. Yes, that is the reality. Unfortunate.
  7. 30 years is the typical benchmark that's reducing and the diminishing shelf life has a lot to do with other factors including how crazy potential upgrade costs have become. See: Titans. In addition, many of the builds in the 80s-90s weren't part of strategic urban infill and larger development projects that you see today. It unfortunately ends up costing taxpayers but it just is what's happening; that's the reality. The plus--if these don't become cringe franchise-soaked districts, they could become pretty cool spots in their respective cities. A factor with BoFa is that it's been consistently upgraded and between Richardson & Tepper, has had $250 mil in reno costs thrown at it. It may be worth downscaling and keeping rather than demoing. And that process would likely be a later phase of a larger development plan that you could probably map out from the foundry's SW extent to the Duke Energy building.
  8. Those comments always crack me up. An interesting path forward (if they go for a new stadium) is putting out an RFP for a strategic downscaling of BoFa to become MLS & venue centric. Instead of an eventual tear down, would love to see some modernization that brings it more to city level and integrates it with more park and plaza space. In the greater context, it could really thread the bball park to this new site and that Brooklyn Village project. Could see some pretty cool things in that respect, the city needs better urban space.
  9. The structural rework involved in converting to a dome and the resulting renovation work ends up being more of an issue than just building a new place. You can't just plop on a roof people.
  10. Of the younger owners (relatively speaking), I'd like him to model things like a Biscotti or Kroenke who similarly purchased their way into the league instead of family inheritance but they didn't place themselves as a Jones type czar. He honestly just needs to find his version of Roseman, Les Snead or Ozzie/DeCosta. I'm unsure if Fit and/or Dan can really elevate into the Executive GM type role, but who knows, maybe it clicks. That's the missing part on the football side IMO. He needs to find his trusted right hand (or two) and we're kind of in a TBD with Scott and Morgan right now. Internally, I'm guessing there really doesn't feel to be a need for an executive between them and Tepper given he's a bit more hands on. Just hope he owns up to the need if it becomes apparent there's a gap in structure. On the non-football side of things, Kristi Coleman and Nicole are running the show on paper/from what we know, likely with DT's heavy hand. That's where overall, I just hope he doesn't f*ck over the QC. I get the sense it's a heavy guided hand, with moments of "Dammit guys, just do this now, we need it" but overall, he may be a bit more hands off on a day to day than is let on. Rock Hill was a mess, that's really all that needs to be said, should've been elsewhere IMO. Just turn the corner, don't screw over the city that made this possible, and you know, win.
  11. Oh yeah you did you. Nerves are stricken, all down the nervous system. Keep the sass train coming, tell me some more sass Snow.
  12. Yeah Carter doesn't look that bad but Josh Palmer ain't the best dude in the WR department. I'm not holding to some unwavering opinion but it's interesting to see how that team has changed. Still, they have a healthy Ekeler and most of the OL in place. Zion has been playing great and Salyer (R) has actually been holding up very well in place at LT. Was a big part of that UGA line, remember wanting that dude in the mid rounds. It's a mix but you know, why not get a bit hyperbolic to emphasize my preference
  13. The article lists Marshall, Bozeman, Luvu, & Foreman as the "moves" Only one is a guy Rhule actually let play but they're definitely working out once the clown exited the building.
  14. Did not know he was going through a rib injury. Knew he was banged up at the onset of the year but didn't know otherwise. Thx for the context. Still have to wonder the impact, the LAC offense has been struggling regardless.
  15. Herbert looks like crap since he left LAC & now Hurts looks like gold in PHI.
  16. Derek Carr represents the QB curve in the league perfectly. He’s what you want at minimum. You want at the very least a Carr. If you don’t have a young guy you’re testing out in his first year or so, then the guy you have better be Derek Carr or better. If not, keep shopping.
  17. The boy gets very skittish once the ball is snapped and has a very tough time going through progressions. Comes to show how prospects that bloom out of nowhere aren’t always Burrows. He’s just never felt in command on offense, not NFL starter level at all. IMO—That class is looking like one okay to have passed on even with 5 QBs going in R1. It’s funny, the two that still have hope are the two original hyped guys (for a few years, they were): Lawrence and Fields. Lawrence though, Jax may be ruining him and his arm surprisingly seems meh in the big leagues. Burrow & Tua are the best in the last 3 classes. Herbert is falling behind them a bit with Hurts catching up…makes me wonder if Steichen is the key with those last two in LAC and PHI. That class has 4 top dudes. Comes to show—in college maybe it’s all about going for the obvious guy putting games on his back, a big arm, & against top competition. Not the guy hitting all the measurables on a middling squad that looks good in shorts.
  18. Zach Wilson has looked anything but solid. He’s been more indicative of a bust than anyone else in that class. Jets record be damned.
  19. I’ve always liked him, but absolutely, 10000%, no more retread vets. Just no.
  20. DE Sam Williams on the Boys looks like a potential star. He’s low key having a great year for a rookie 2nd rounder.
  21. Still can't believe Rhule sat Bozeman for Elflein. It boggles the mind, even knowing how bad of a coach he is.
