This may be the worst game/matchup of the NFL season. Can legit see this being 6-3 ish.

If we'd try to sign Reid Sinnett right now, he would stay in the XFL.

We currently have the #2 pick in the draft :)

I do wonder what the rankings would be among active GMs of the following guys, who they'd want right now: Burrow, Tua, Herbert, and Lawrence... I think more than a few may have Tua #1. He's been proving why Tank for Tua was a thing for 2 years before his college injury. He's been just phenomenal, with 2 phenomenal WRs and a really promising coach. I honestly think Miami struck gold and it's not getting enough praise. They may be the new offense gold standard right now, if not now, come EOY. -
If season ended today which QB would you take.

Very happy we don't have to ride out Pickett though, he looks mediocre Keenumish at best (but honestly, has already shown more NFL downfield ability than Zach Wilson lol). I just want to see the fire in the eyes with a QB. I want to see a guy that bleeds football and wills his team to wins. I just hope the staff doesn't fall for a guy that is checking boxes but not passing the QB all around leadership role. Stroud gives me pause at times, but he really makes you go wow at times with his throws. Hard not to gravitate towards him. Young, he's got that energy about him, smoothness in the pocket, his teammates love him, looks like Q-Tip, figures out a way. I think Penix and Ward do this as well, Jaren Hall has shown a lot. And my random sleeper that will likely amount to nothing in Clayton Tune does. Gun to the head, right now, I'd double dip...Young R1, Ward R4ish Now, a secondary possibility is getting Carter or Murphy and then trading UP into R1 for the high ceiling guys like Richardson (or maybe Penix). You don't trade back and fall into the QB you want, that just doesn't happen, you gotta seek them out. (RE: BAL, KC) -
Panthers' situation aside, who are your favorite overall prospects?

Love Zay Flowers as well. That guy is a perfect 2nd round target for us. On the defensive side, Antonio Johnson S is a guy who a lot of teams will covet. 6'3 versatile safety, he's going to be coveted and think he has a very low bust rate. Could see him making an impact right away. -
Spoiled Salmon aye? Well, the offense is definitely fishy.
-
And re: next year, I had no idea Drake Maye is Luke Maye's brother. That's crayzay

Did Lewis ever even start? St. Pierre actually balled the f out considering we grabbed him off the couch out of nowhere. I remember that long Gettis play not too long ago. Clausen is the worst, post-Tommy Jake, and yea, Baker. He's just really really bad.

Clayton Tune and Jake Haener man..if they keep it going, it's going to be hard to keep ignoring them. Haener has a pretty light frame but both are really showing out. Gotta imagine they're more than a blip on radars at this point. Richardon looked pretty good at times, the potential is there, he could be climbing on team boards.

I'd support him if we picked him but he's not my preference. Maybe we could catch lightning in a bottle with him. Sucks for the kid.
-
I'd have to argue it is if he's a developmental QB, and especially that combined with a mobile type. A guy that will be 25 years old his rookie year needs to hit the ground running. If not, you're banking on a guy being 26-27 by the time he gets going. And being a mobile prospect, how long will that really last? I guess he's no Weinke so there's that.
-
Sucks for the aged adult. That makes his assessment even tougher honestly. Hasn't shown enough pure QB skills but has shown enough to not be ignored. He's anywhere from a 2nd to a 4th methinks.

The LA Rams are 3-7…. We had their second round pick this year

All I want for Christmas is a QB & a coach. -
He had the greatest bestest throw ever at his pro day.
-
Who actually watched our game today vs. just redzone?
-
I like Saleh and they honestly had an awesome 2022 draft. Wilson just ain't the guy but they could be a team to be reckoned with if they get a QB. This league is becoming more and more QB starved by the year.
-
I mean, he's looked bad since his first game against us. He's just awful.
-
Not only have the Jets not made it to midfield through their offense, they haven't passed the 35 yard line.
-
Good lord Zach Wilson sucks. He's about firmly in bust territory.

Okay that WFT int was insane

Steve Wilks Likely to Be 'Seriously Considered' for Panthers Full-Time HC

Totally. I can see a handful in this crop going higher than last year's but the team-to-team rankings could be all over the place. There's guys like Stroud, Levis, McKee who fit the prototypical mold but the play is in question...and then the one's really showing off in games like Young, Penix, etc. are the guys with physical or developmental question marks.
-
Penix and Ward are both still looking like really promising prospects. But keep an eye out with Clayton Tune. He's on radars, may not be in a ton of articles or high in online rankings, but I love what he brings. 6'3 220, he's got the arm strength, above avg mobility, and he's become more accurate as the season has progressed. Absolutely pummeled ECU: Still digging Jake Haener as well. The dude is just rolling https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2023-nfl-draft-qb-stock-watch-oregons-bo-nix-fresno-states-jake-haener-continue-efficient-seasons/ Gotta say, the QB prospects are so much more interesting than last year.

Who are the dudes who you're convinced will be stars in this 2023 class? Regardless if we could or should get them, who are you absolutely sold on? Me: Jordan Addison Route running-check, NFL quickness-check, YAC ability-check, swag-check, big play ability-check, can line up anywhere-check. The boy also likes the limelight, leaving Pitt for USC and thriving with Caleb Williams in LA. Corrected his only potential issue back at Pitt which were a few drops here and there. I see no way he doesn't translate. He reminds me so much of Stefon Diggs with a bit more twitch--should be a bonafide ROTY candidate, insta-WR special. Will be very jealous of the team he ends up with. I get similar vibes with him that I got with Jefferson and OBJ in their drafts. Something just seems so perfect about them as NFL WRs. Just has it. Who you got?
