  1. Richardson is a good example of a prospect this year getting hyped heavily on the web, and generating mock-to-mock perpetuated hype. When you come down from the hype, I can realistically see some teams having him pegged as a late-1st, but he may be a hard no for some or a 3rd rounder like Willis really was. Overall, I'm looking at these QBs as either 1st or 3rds. You're either worth it or worth waiting on who's left. 2nds are rare. Dalton, Carr, Brees, Kaepernick, & Hurts are the outliers in the last 20ish years but that just doesn't happen much. The position is valued such that a good QB talent won't slip past all 32 and not get a young gun with an 5th yr option. And if they do, there's a reason, which typically brings them to being late 2nd/early 3rd selections. I'm on the fence with Richardson. He's had moments where I've been like, yup, sign me up. But then those moments are followed by like 10 incompletions and stalled drives.
  2. The usuals vipbox or Batman streams still have decent success rates Or you can just stop in Madison for a solid time!
  3. Pretty wild Kyle Allen's win total is more than Darnold and Baker combined given what we spent for those two. Compared: 7 wins in 1 season - Kyle Allen - UDFA, GAINED a 5th in a trade 10 wins in 3 seasons - Bridgewater, Darnold & Baker - 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, $53.6 million (accrued total paid, 30 TB+18.8 SD+4.8 BM)
  4. Records: PJ Walker 4-3 Kyle Allen 7-10 Sam Darnold 5-7 Bridgewater 4-11 Baker 1-5 Heinecke 0-1 Will Grier 0-2
  5. It was Kyle Allen. He was the only one who was able to maximize CMC & consistently get the ball to DJ. Heinecke has been fun as hell for Washington but he wasn't at that level yet when he played here. Teddy managed but did not elevate. Darnold has had like 4 good games out of 14. Mostly trash.
  6. Can't get over how badly he played. He's done, unsure if he'd even outperform Purdy at this point.
  7. Bolded who I think is draftable. I do think this Michael Pratt is an interesting guy as well to throw into the mix. Tulane rocked house this year and he looked very good doing it. 60% + completion, 8.6 per, 33 TDs (25 pass), 5 INTs, closed out the year beating 2 ranked teams in a row. That was before Van Dykes blunder of a 2022 season, but if that was the word and he turned around the year he did, you HAVE to think he's on radars. Very interesting prospect in my view. Tulane finished #16 in the country. The Cotton Bowl is one of the games to watch against USC. VERY interested to see how they stack up. Caleb & Addison vs. Pratt & Spears
  8. Really good point here. Caleb, McCarthy, Maye, Daniels, Ward, Penix all guys that could be in conversation in 24'. A name to watch out for--Jaxson Dart
  9. I believe both him and Jayden Daniels decisions are still TBD.
  10. This isn't as loaded of a WR as in years past but Jordan Addison and Quinten Johnson are both awesome. I'm quite satisfied we landed Horn in 21 and Icky to have a future LT, but I would be lying if I wasn't jealous of what Garrett Wilson and Justin Jefferson have been doing and did have a strong spider sense with both. I just don't see how Addison doesn't come into the NFL and is a hit off the bat. Not to mention a whole group of others in recent years that have been propelling teams into the playoffs and beyond. Chase, Higgins, G Davis, Brown, Deebo, Smith, Jefferson, CeeDee, Metcalf, the list goes on. The best teams have these arsenals of weapons and you just can't stop stocking up. I'm not going to be content with DJ & the potential of TMJ after this year. We need to keep adding for a new QB. But yes, of course the QB is the greater priority. It's why in the likely case of us going QB first, would love to grab Zay Flowers/Hyatt/Hutchinson in the 2nd. This class starts to drop off IMO after about WR 5ish.
  11. Both LB and TE have some awesome talent in this draft. I like the Bama kid
  12. That had to be one of the worst drops of the year. Yikes Boyd!
  13. But for the record, I still want Steichen. He's really the only one I want.
  14. Just throwing out the idea. And to answer the question--one HC'd a Falcons team to a SB and is coaching a top defense this year. The other became an interim for two fired coaches in a row so was kind of signed up for awful situations. Now, is purportedly scripting a lot of the Miami game plans who've been far and away the best offense this year. So, yeah, they've done some things.
  15. I like Herbert but man, he really leaves points on the board. He misses open dudes in the seam a lot trying to stretch the field to Allen or w/ Ekeler dump offs.
  16. It also makes me wonder if a target for us could be to get the band (subtract Carroll) back together... Dan Quinn & Darrell Bevell? Bevell has been doing some really good stuff in MIA. He's played a big role of offense implementation with McDaniel. Could even keep Wilks in that instance since he does have a history w/Bevell. Fitt knows them all very well.
  17. So happy to see Isaiah Hodgins with his first TD. Was a late round fave of mine back in his draft. Maybe he'll stick in NYC.
  18. Hackett not going for it on 4th and inches and pushing for a FG from the 28 yl. He's toast.
  19. Fields could become something. He's been looking less and less like a scrub this year. Unreal year rushing. Could set some records. Mike White is coming back to earth against a good Vikings squad, but man, Cousins is so hot and cold. Eagles look awesome. Playcalling, Hurts, the defensive line. They are looking so damn good. Broncos lol. There's just no words left. Giants-Skins game is fun. Lions are having themselves a game. B Johnson is calling a good one.
  20. I'm cool with Shane Steichen or Ben Johnson. No college plz. I honestly don't even care who it is, just find a true NFL guy that can construct a potent offense to compliment all the defensive parts we have in place.
  21. After the bigs, it's really Penix and Ward that interest me the most, but I just don't know what's realistic draft wise for them. And I have a suspicion Ward stays in school. Overall, not a proponent of trying to find a "sleeper" in the mid-rounds and claim they're somehow franchise changers, but there's some guys that can run NFL offenses in this draft. This may be one of the deeper QB drafts in quite some time, with many drafted, but it's simply not top heavy or have any modern star prototypes. So may not be generating excitement, but there's going to be guys teams could target Day 2 that go higher than expected. It also makes me feel like there's going to be someone who works out in the long run we don't see coming. So who are the ones that may not get projected high but teams take them higher than expected? With the year wound down, notables that have finished the year strong from a QB standpoint/making NFL-level throws & decisions: Aidan O'Connell QB Purdue 6'3 210 Jake Haener QB Fresno State 6'1 201 Michael Pratt QB Tulane 6'3 210 Clayton Tune QB Houston 6'3 220 I'd watch out for these ones ^^^^ Panthers wise, any would be good in a double dip scenario.
  22. I wouldn't bank on him being more than a 4th-ish rounder at best. He's also had Quinten Johnson all season to chuck it to. He can take a lick, so there's that, but NFL level passer? I'm unsure. Per the Athletic:
  23. Brugler released his mock on a new Athletic FS pod this week so his is new and off his latest intel. Some really good insight on it. Unsure if Richardson is as high as some are projecting. Can’t dispute the upside but the hype may not be there for decision makers yet.
  24. Not necessarily news given his age lol. Joking aside, he's got the tools; great arm, mechanics, needs someone to help put some things together. Classic boom/bust. I want to like him but he really makes some boneheaded in-game decisions. All about the right environment, coaching and him maturing into a leadership role. Further stresses the need for us to get some legit coaches up in here.
