  1. I'm going to be toast in the morning after watching this. Got to get up at 2AM to drive from Mt Vernon Illinois to Weatherford Oklahoma on the other side of OK City.
  2. Cam wouldn't have got that call. Lol
  3. After spending 2 hours on the phone with a Verizon rep I have no faith in whether or not I actually have Sunday Ticket. I was supposed to get it free with adding home Internet. We will see come the 1st game.
  4. I knew that was going to be that TD play before the snap. How did we miss that coverage?
  5. For the veterans, I'd say it isn't. They understand all to well it's meaningless. For Young, it might be just for a boost of confidence.
  6. @Mr. Scot my original post was in response to "It (the win) was right there". And where as I wouldn't blame the lose fully on Kasay . . .the kick was undeniably a major choke.
  7. Apparently you weren't watching the same game I was.
  8. I have a feeling we're going to have those calls (no calls) go our way with Young. Bigger than life, arrogant and flashy vs small statue, humble and methodically conscientious. Young's getting those calls. Now whether or not he's carried out on a stretcher after those same hits is yet to be determined.
  9. So was our 1st Super Bowl. Talk about royal choke. . .
  10. Personally, I think if we rolled with Dalton we'd have the advantage in the division this year. But I understand why they are rolling with Young. The Panthers have laid all their chips on the table betting he is the future. There will be growing pains though. I don't think letting him sit behind Dalton for a year or even part of a season would change that.
  11. They said you'll be able to hear the replay on the Sirius App. May take a day or two for it to be available.
  12. My take away from broadcast: I'm finally excited this year about this team. I'm usually a homer fanatic early on but the years of being psyched out only to be let down had taken it's toll and I was a doubter this year. What I heard today gave me hope. One thing that stuck out to me was the Panther veteran interviews. Rhule didn't even have to be mentioned but you could tell they are extremely happy about the change, excited about the new coaching staff and can't wait for the season to start. Me too. . .me too. That's it folks. Thanks for putting up with me posting for a few hours.
  13. Polian on the division: Saints have the upper hand and the BUCS, Falcons and Panthers will all be vying for 2nd place but the Panthers will really be hitting their stride in the last quarter of the season. Alex and Polian both think the offense line will be the strongest unit on the team.
  14. Bozeman on Icky: A lot more confident and outspoken this years.
  15. Bozeman loves loves loves the Carolina area and there was no question he was going to resign with the Panthers.
  16. Bozeman on Bryce: Bryce dominates the huddle and is mastering the protections much faster than Bozeman ever could. The scuffle at training camp and Bozeman stepping in to protect Young was more of a joke than anything.
  17. Derrick Brown is loving the new coaching staff. Learning new counter moves that he hopes takes his game to the next level.
  18. Shaq Thompson is such a good interview. Very well spoken. Says Bryce is embracing the leadership role and the whole team has Bryce's back. Sounds like there's going to be great chemistry between Bryce and Bozeman.
  19. Polian on defense: Evero and Capers insist they will adapt their system to the players not the players to the system. It's going to be mid season before this defense will hit their stride as the coaches evolve the system to the players strengths.
  20. Alex Marvez comparing Franks 2nd chance at coaching to that of Marv Levy and Tony Dungy.
  21. Frank on Bryce. . .only giving him what he can handle.
  22. Alex Marvez to Frank "I've not seen a better support staff put together for a young QB.
  23. Frank on Bryce: Great to work with, humble and wants to get better.
  24. Bill Polian on Frank Reich: "incredibly mature" and has the necessary "scars" to be a good, successful coach. Was very apologetic on Franks part for unfortunate circumstances that has held back Frank in the past. Has put together as good a coaching staff as any could.
  25. The 4 consecutive days with interceptions was mentioned but explained by Bill P. No other rookie is taking the number of snaps he's taking. Also, my take, the defense always has a jump start on the offense until the QBs get their timing down with the receivers.
