Draft edge in 2nd play Luvu at ILB and edge like he played a lot last season. Luvu has great pursuit and get off so you can move him around at both spots. The rookie would not have to play as many snaps that way. Chinn will be on the field, they will not be in 3-4 base much, more Nik(3 safeties) and he will also be the dime LB. I have been going back and looking at the D from last season the Panthers ran a lot of 3man fronts (3DTs) with standup rushers I don't think this D will be that lost with the "scheme" change

Was a good look at the top QBs coming out of HS.
-
The team ran lots of 3-4 looks over the last few years. Phil snow was a multi front guy. Last year alone Burns was more a stand up rusher then most seem to remember. So base off what they have played before I would say: olb- draft pick/Haynes/Barno Ilb- Luvu Ilb- Thompson Olb- Burns De- YGM De- Brown Nt- draft pick/ McCall

No, but last season record is what everyone brings up. I just think it's funny that's why he is a bad coach because he went 6-6 with someone else staff but it's ok you can go 3-5-1 with your hand pick staff and that don't matter at all. Again we talking LAST SEASON. Imagine if DJ don't take his helmet off and we miss the extra points, or CJ know how to play Corner Wilks could have EZ been 8-4 with games we had in hand. Just saying -

6-6 > 3-5-1 -
I'm like what ever really, but how people trashing Wilks 6-6 but happy with 3-5-1 from Reich with a better team. People where looking at Ind as a playoff team. Just saying

The problem I see is people get caught up in just take a QB any QB if he is the 1st rnd he must be good. Then history proves other wise. I think QB is the hardest spot to play and bad teams pick at the top of drafts and they don't have the time to wait and end up rushing a guy even if he not ready. Mite be why so many bust. Like I have said give me a QB that looks good on a bad team that will show more how they can handle not just always having the better college team around him and he probably won't be a 1st rnd QB.

I think it's funny people act like we can't do worse then Wilks, we can and already did with Rhule. People say try something different like we didn't just get out of a 2 1/2yr hell with Mr "the way of the Panther"guy. Dude came in and tried to remove all history this team had. I'm a Wilks guy, all I'm saying is why not give him a shot? Look no farther then LV they got the new toy after there temp guy got them to play better and he was the hot OC but forgot that just because you can call plays don't mean you can run a whole team. Oh no not a RR 2.0 the winningest coach in Panther history, I would take 4 NFCS titles and a SB run over always chasing the new shiny new toy. Also RR got to as many SBs as S. Payton. (Sucks the NFL didn't want us to win one) just my two cent

AR is not a good passer and guess what the top thing an NFL QB is asked to do. People knock Corral for an RPO system but would take a RPO QB that wasn't even as good at it in the 1st rnd. He is no Cam, with our 2nd if still there sure why not but top 10 I would pass. If top 2 QBs not there re-sign Sam(He was one of the top QBs 2nd half of season) let him and Matt battle for QB1. Good coaching could make them look just as good as some of this guys.

SP, anyone who wanted players on this team hurt will never be welcome here. Plus cost us a top 10 pick just to head this team. That mite do it because this move would mean the owner really now's nothing of the team past or history.

It can always be worse. With a new coach there is just as much chance he is bad at it as he is good. In less then 12 games Wilks has matched Rhules best yrs so why not see what he can do with his own coaches and players he wants. He has the city and the players behind him..

Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
NCBlu replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
Used car salesman... That's all I think when I hear him talk. Will tell you what ever you want to hear just to get the sale. -
I would have made Rhule stick with the bed he make with Donald not reach for QB #3 in 3 years.
-
Should have been QB#1 for this season the whole time the Baker experience was a big waste of everyone's time but at least it got Rhule fired..
-
People really want draft picks 2 drafts from now for our best player on D? 24/25 draft picks In hand is worth more then a maybe. Why trade a good young player just to hope to find a good young player? DE is a premium position, everyone wants 1 or 2.
-
Panthers need a QB that makes his team better, not one on a great team that's making him look better. I would take the QB that looks good but not on one of the top NCAA teams with stacked talent all around

DJ Moore should not have been penalized for helmet removal
NCBlu replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I blame Baker Mayfield, DJ had way much pinned up inside so when he was finally able to show who he is it got the best of him.... -
WWE wrestler takes shot at Panthers and Charlotte
NCBlu replied to philw5289's topic in Carolina Panthers
The refs are turning the NFL into the WWE (WWF before the name was sold off...) I watched as a kid when they tried to make it look real but when the name changed they said F it lets go all out entertainment and way to over the top. -
Welp.. Levis, Hooker or McKee come on down.
NCBlu replied to panthersgreenville's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like the just take any top QB people. That's how you end up with a Baker Mayfield as the #1 pick.. Take the right QB for your team. L. Jackson(MVP) was #32 while top 10 QBs from that draft will be looking for new teams next yr.
