  1. We are supposed to learn from the past. Not fear it. Nothing that happened last year matters. This is a new year. New challenges. Let's worry about what's in front of us. Not what is behind us.
  2. Sorry you feel that way. By the way. How will you feel if we are outside a top 10 pick? What if, heaven forbid, this team actually plays well? After all, Hope springs eternal.
  3. I don't think you are alone in worrying about that front 7. However, we were 9 in yards per rush last year. If we can stay near that, the run D isn't bad. The only fear I have is rushing the passer. We have some talent there, they just need to step up.
  4. That's fine that you think that. Just know you are not in the majority according to the poll. And for the record. Put Stafford on this team, and we absolutely can compete.
  5. 6 MAYBE votes 6 YES votes 2 NO votes Better than I expected. And there was great rejoicing.
  6. So...because you failed to tell us how you voted, we are left to guess. And by this post? I'mma say it's a solid no for you?
  7. I was hopeful it would go this way to be honest. The excitement level around here has had a marked increase of late.
  8. So do you not believe that Coaches can improve? Because our coach has added some highly resected coaches to his staff. This just might be a positive. Rhule has less day to day crap to deal with. Leaving him plenty of time to work his magic. Saying a Coach is bad is not the end all. There is always hope for improvement. Me? I would rather hope for improvement. It is better for the digestion.
  9. Well, so far, the money is on us having a decent roster. C'mon QB.
  10. @Davidson Deac IIshowed a stat recently that said we were 9th in yards per run. If we can stay right around there? We should be good to go.
  11. My only fear is that Rhule won't play Corall even after he learns the playbook, and can run some practices. Corall has to earn that start asap. Yeah, that front 7 is a tad shaky right now. There is talent there, so there is a chance we can improve. Cuz if that front 7 plays well, that D could be really good.
  12. McAdoo likes to throw the ball. Matt has said he wants to run the ball more. Corall is good at Play Action. So a blend of all that. If I'm not playing the game to your satisfaction. Then yeah, I concur, we done
  13. IMO, if the line looks as good as it should. Corall should play as soon as he can run a practice.
  14. IMO, this is the best roster we have had is a long while. Quality QB play would put us in the competitive bracket. I like Corall, and am hopeful he can rise to the occasion. Because if he can, we can be something.
  15. 1. Everybody knows we didn't draft Matt to run a Fox Offense. And we may think we know what O they will run, and what type of RB they want. But we don't. 2. You just repeated #1. 3, Hoping a RB that fits what we want gets cut? Not sound strategy to me. But hey, if we need to we can. 4. You know I meant Foreman. Don't be obtuse. And Hubbard can improve. You know, like a lot of players do 5. You build your roster the best you can. You do not plan on injuries. You don't have the roster space to stockpile players in case of injury.
  16. IMO, if Matt can master the Playbook, he should be the starter. Whenever that happens. Whether sooner, or later. Or not at all. If Matt allows Matt to be Matt. This could be the start of a beautiful relationship.
  17. 1. We have no idea yet what that "Matt Corall centric Offense" is going to look like. 2. The OC designs his Offense for everyone. Not just the QB. 3. How do you plan on adding this RB, whose skillset is still a question mark? Please no trades. And the FA market is rather sad. 4. Royce can catch, and Hubbard has had a whole offseason to work on his craft. 5. Counting on injuries is a fools errand. If Corall works out, we have a roster that could make some noise. If he doesn't work out? The next QB has a pretty good team to work with.
  18. Considering your posting history. You won't mind if I don't take posting advice from you?
  19. So...After all the complaining, backstabbing, name calling, and @Mr. Scotinsults. I get called into HR? I will endeavor from this moment on, to raise my level of posting.
  20. I'm not sure taking someone's words out of context is the best way to start a discussion.
  21. Unfortunately, at this point in time. That is the Huddle in a nutshell. "I do have a plan. Attack." There are a poo ton of short fuses up in here. And I hate that I cannot say mine is any longer. Civility, empathy, and caring are all traits that seem to be disappearing. Abe Lincoln once said "I will give no ill will to any man." And I hate that I have lost sight of that. (I did a HS report on him, and have always tried to emulate that approach.) The negativity is waning, and the excitement level is rising. Hopefully, that will bring about a more civil discourse. Sorry for the tangent. I do enjoy your posting style. Live long and prosper. And have a blessed HumpDay.
  22. No, that's @Mr. Scot. I just like to be entertained. And this place is GOLD right now.
  23. We have RB depth. Injuries happen. If you want to worry about a position group hurting after an injury? Let's talk WR, or LB. Hellz Bellz that Dline is glue and tape. Complaining without a solution is just bit(hing. And right now, there is no way to fix this COMPLAINT.
  24. One can never have enough 1st round picks. That part I am envious over.
  25. You are seeing Ghosts where there aren't any. We have more depth there than any position other than maybe Oline, and DBs. You have this idea that there is such a thing as a "Matt Corall centric Offense". And you just know our RBs don't fit that scheme. Like I said. You are seeing Ghosts. Maybe we can wait to see what type of Offense we run, before we call for replacement players?
