  1. Best case. Kick Off, and your D forces a 3 and out. That is why you have starters. To start the game with your best. Hopefully set the tone for the entire game. Yeah, it's funny. Some players will help anyone, even their back-up. Some guys won't. I'd be willing to bet, there are not a lot of won'ts on this team.
  2. If Arnold proves to be all that. You have to pay him. We cannot continue to keep letting young talent walk. Draft well, and keep your own. That's the Hubby way. lol
  3. So ok, maybe not fail. Let's go with, not succeed. Still has negative connotations. That's fine. I'm going to go find some folks that are a little more positive. I'm too excited for this year to go down that road. Have fun, take care, and stay safe.
  4. That makes a lot of sense. If you dig a little deeper, you could say the only players who actually need padded practices, are the two lines. They absolutely need padded practices. Of course there are exceptions. Tackling drills, which I'm not even sure they do those anymore. So very little need for other positions to wear them.
  5. I just think you're being just a tad overly critical. You seem to be resigned to the fact this is going to fail. Which is your right. IMO, Sam is going to show folks what he was supposed to be. After all, he is lighting it up in Camp.
  6. It is true that a Vet QB is probably a lot less likely to put your D in a bad way. Makes sense that a DC would want the Vet.
  7. Truth be told. Sam really has never had a chance to succeed. He was fighting an uphill battle his whole career at NY. Here? He is set up for success. And he seems to be grabbing that chance by the throat. Just look at what he has done the last couple of weeks. Sam has a real shot at showing all his doubters wrong.
  8. Snow? Are you sure? Because you said that Snow was the main push for Sam. That just seems odd. Then again, a DC could have an idea on how tough it would be to Defend against Sam. Just seems odd to me. No, that is not the same thing.
  9. Do you have any proof of this statement? Sounds real iffy to me. At the start of last year it was largely held, we had very little talent. This year? There is talk of Playoffs. This team is improving. But you can't enjoy it, cuz we didn't do it the way you would want?
  10. At the end of the day. All you can do is do your work, and make the best decision you can. If you have a quality information gathering system in place. You have to trust it. Even if you miss from time to time. And right now. It appears we are doing pretty well implementing that plan.
  11. Forgot about that. Ah memories. They aren't what they used to be. lol
  12. I think you may have responded to the wrong thread. Your last post in this thread was about Tannyhill, and Gase. Just an FYI
  13. Yeah, I'm not going to worry until he drops out of the rotation entirely.
  14. I can live with that. Tyler was the glue that held that line together.
  15. Sometimes the Vet is just better. Doesn't mean he'll stay there. Vets make fewer mistakes. Maybe that is why he is starting? Doesn't really matter who starts. We rotate quite a bit. One of the things you have to like about this staff. If you perform, you play.
  16. For some reason, folks just are not going to be patient and wait for this rebuild to be done. They want it now. Which unfortunately, is the presiding sentiment in America today. 2 years ago: (5-11) 1. We had, arguably, the worst D in the league. 2. We struggled to score points. 3. There was nary a whisper of Playoffs. 1 year later: (TBD) 1. There is talk of a top 10 D. 2. This team is gonna score some points. 3. There is talk of Playoffs. IMO, that is one hellofa turn around. And a great reason for optimism.
  17. No, no we don't. But this place is a mess right now. What with the bullies, and all the negativity. He just adds to the watering down of teh Huddle. Too bad too, this place used to be a great place. Nowadays, not so much. We had the All Pro section for a few years, and that helped. But alas, that is gone by the wayside. I wish there was some other place to go.
  18. How do you know whether he is vaxed, or not? We are at 96% as a team. But I have seen no list one way or the other. Is he wearing a mask? I would like to know who is still waiting on a vax.
  19. No, no you don't. Your pathological need for attention is creepy. Also, your willingness to absorb abuse is downright scary. You are fodder, nothing more.
  20. Oh don't worry about that. You are like the kid who keeps interrupting the football game because you want attention. More of a nuisance than anything of importance.
  21. No, you're an overreating Troll, who makes up way too much sht.
  22. Jebus dude. Those two are no where near comparable. You take one of the greatest Panthers of all time. And compare him to that? What's your point? Heaven forbid a Panther fan hype up one of our own.
  23. My Zod you are dramatic. Also, you are way off on most of this. First, can you even name a player a team parted ways with? Rosen, and? GMs don't lose their jobs over a bad high pick. They lose them over many bad picks. And sometimes it can take more than that. Where in the world did you come up with it takes 5-10 years to overcome a bad pick? Be honest, you made that one up? Before the CBA, 1st round contracts were getting out of hand. So a wrong deal could cost you. Since the CBA, 1st round contracts no longer hamper a team. So that is no longer a concern. 6-10 year contracts? Hyperbole much. Both Rhule and Meyer got 6 year deals. Nowhere near 10 years. I know you had a rant in there. But c'mon man.
  24. RIP @CosmoGirl, and @Jimmy. I hope you got to heaven, before the evil knew you were gone.
  25. Aw, aren't you sweet to notice. Find me one post where I complain about being insulted that doesn't come from FUdude. That's ok, I'll wait. I don't expect you to actually look. That ain't your style.
