Just watched that movie last night. Small world I tell ya what.
-
Rhule claimed his number 1 complaint about last year was not getting off the field on 3rd downs. He went about fixing that. Hopefully, the attack the line with the same gusto this year.
-
Evidently. Most on here seem to believe it.
-
Everyone marveled at KC. They needed to redo their line, and went out and spent money, and draft picks. And now, Mahomes is hurt. Fixing the Oline is not an easy fix. Those who believe it is are lying to themselves. Edit to add; Bringing in Watson will take resources away from fixing the Oline.

I find it humorous that you believe your apathy somehow makes you a Martyr. If you really didn't care. You wouldn't be on here so much. You care, come on...say it. lol

They watched every throw Sam has made since High School. They did their homework. It just seems like it hasn't worked so far. Maybe it still can.
-
Not sure where the idea there are no QBs coming out next year started. Cuz there are quite a few QBs that are lighting it up this year. If we go that way, there will be options.

When did you give up on Matt Rhule?

I concur 100% on Brady. I am not sure what to do, but something has to be done. Whether by Rhule, or self reflection. Brady needs to help Sam, and not hang him out to dry. Get Sam some easy completions, then let's see what we can do. And of course, hope CMC gets back. -

A whole lot of folks seem to conveniently forget how Teddy threw our Coaches under the bus. But yeah, let's keep him. Cuz that's the type of leader we need. Right? -

Don't you think this is a bit of an overreaction to a bad situation? Where's the evidence they can build a program? This team has a lot more talent than it did when Rhule got here. Maybe give them more than 1 year, and 7 games to work this out. We keep making idiotic decisions at QB. It's year two. A little early to be making definitive statements? Unless you thought the rebuild would be over by now? Our veteran acquisitions this offseason look awful. If you are talking Offense, then yes, I agree. But the ones on Defense have worked out nicely. Our rookie class looks not great. Hard to evaluate a draft class after 7 games. And if Great is your bench mark, we may never meet your goal. This team is worse than last year's. We have more talent this year than last. And we still have 10 games to play. A bit early to call the season over. Right now? It looks bad. But it may get better. Can't we wait until the season is over before we flush it? -
IMO, you cannot fault Rhule for trying to jump start this rebuild with a Vet QB. It was a calculated risk. What we can hold him responsible for? How he fixes this mess. And unfortunately, that won't be this year.
-
Listen, you quoted me first. It is not my responsibility to answer in a fashion that pleases you. It was my fault for trying to converse in a friendly manner. I will not make that mistake again.
-
He is new to the NFL, so mistakes will happen. But then again, almost every team makes mistakes. He is good at addressing his mistakes for the most part. Now, if he does something about Brady. That would go a long way with appeasing the fan base. It's year 2. I think too many people are in a hurry to speed this thing up, and are being overly critical.
-
And all you do is attack posters. When was the last time you posted something football related? I try and post, and this is what I get. Nah, this place ain't toxic.
-
You know what? I am not going to get into this with you again. You are not a happy camper, and it shows in your posts. I am not letting that get to me. So I respectfully back out.
-
So...attack the poster, not the post. Got it.
-
lol I like this one. "We don't have talent. But if that talent, that we don't have, quit on the coach, he needs to go." No arguing that rebuttal. If you can't look at this team, and see the amount of talent out there? That's a you problem.
-
I'm not even sure how to respond to this. But here goes. Sure Rhule calls the trick plays. But if you think he is in on every play call? A competent OC can make the O work. Maybe not at Tampa Bay level. But better than where it is now. Yes Brady is a problem. But...how many OCs were at Rhule's beck and call? Rhule is good at addressing problems. Let's see how this one goes.
-
Rhule wanted to start a winning culture right away. Going with an established QB should have helped with that. It didn't. We are 7 games into the 2nd year of a rebuild. We have not compromised the future.
-
And this team has a ton more talent than when he started.
-
Rhule wanted to establish a winning culture sooner rather than later. So he went with experienced QBs. It seems that didn't work. It is no big indictment on his coaching. It was a calculated risk. Some rebuilds start with a rookie QB. Rhule tried to bypass that. That has no bearing whatsoever on his ability to coach.
-
Ok fine. Rant away. You want to put all the blame at Rhule's footsteps. Have at it. Rhule may not have the pool of coaching acquaintances built to the point he can hire anyone he wants. Give the guy a chance. Or not. Young coach in his first gig. But hey, let's roast him before he even gets started. I have a crazy idea. Let's see where this goes before we burn it down. Maybe the guy figures it out. Not everybody is ready to light that match.
-
Rhule does not call plays. With even a competent OC, this team could compete.
-
I think that if we had an OC with even a modicum of talent. We'd be competitive.
