  1. Uh no. There surprisingly are a few people who spend more time on these boards than you do, and I don't think they're incels at all. You're just by far the most contemptuous, bitter, resentful, spiteful poster I've seen traverse these boards in my aforementioned 10 years, combined with your constant evoking of sexual acts to characterize people you hate (Rhule, Darnold, now CMC) come together to make a perfect little Incel cocktail. But the more time you spend in here instead of potentially seeking more dangerous outlets for your resentment in the real world, the better for society. So I can genuinely say I'm glad to have you here.
  2. Bro I've been on these boards for 10 years and you've doubled my post count in the 1 year you've been here. Also in case you're not just playing dumb, even if I was on here as much as you..."incel" and "terminally online" are not synonymous. You being both doesn't make those terms interchangeable.
  3. Man I gotta say I get real Incel vibes from ole Frankie. I've never seen someone so fueled by spite...but what's interesting is that whoever is the target of his resentment, he always posts sexual imagery about sucking their D or slurping their jizz or now banging their girl's baby-maker. Those types of negative associations with sex are rampant in the Incel community. That's my psychology PSA of the day, thank you thank you.
  4. I just don't see how anyone can watch CMC on game days throughout his entire career (including after getting his extension) and suggest he's the type of guy who gets paid and then checks out for self-preservation. The dude gives it 150% on every snap and does not play like a guy trying to preserve his body. Elflein shared a story about how CMC came into the training room in last year's game against the Saints (soon after his "fat contract") violently vomiting with full body cramps, got a quick IV, and then went back in to finish handling his usual 30 touches/game. If I were to make a list of possible reasons for CMC's significant injury history/missed games over the last couple seasons, my list (in order of likelihood) would go: 1) He's legit building up nagging injuries due to his 479 touches per game because of how overly reliant our offense is on him (including continuously running him up the gut like a 250-pound battering ram) 2) Rhule putting him on IR prematurely to build an excuse for his failures (unlike CMC, Rhule has shown time and time again of being fueled by self-preservation) THEN a distant 3rd would be CMC playing up the injuries to avoid sacrificing his body for a losing team.
  5. I'm referencing PFF's own 85.9 pass-blocking rating, so dissecting their criteria as far as what constitutes a pass play or not doesn't really seem relevant. That 85.9 rating would have already accounted for that.
  6. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-week-6-game-recap-los-angeles-rams-24-carolina-panthers-10 They apparently gave him really low marks for run-blocking despite most of CMC's success coming off the left edge, according to his run chart that's been posted in here. Still seems strange for an 85.9 pass blocking grade + 40.6 run-blocking grade to come out to a 45.0 overall grade.
  7. It just seems strange that some of Hurney's most vocal critics are somehow Fitterer's biggest advocates when they both seem to suffer from several of the same egregious mistakes. -Extending underperforming players to lucrative contracts? Check. (Ian Thomas, Donte Jackson, Robbie Anderson) -Hitting in the 1st round but largely missing everywhere else? Check. It's obviously too early to judge this year's class favorably or unfavorably, but last year: TMJ/Tremble/Chuba/Daviyon Nixon/Keith Taylor/Deonte Brown/Shi Smith/Thomas Fletcher/Phil Hoskins have all had little-to-no contribution halfway into their second season. Christensen seems to be the only one outside of Horn who has contributed in any meaningful capacity. -Trading away valuable draft capital? Check. Hurney's typically came in the form of trading up in the draft, whereas Fitterer has traded picks away for players like Sam Darnold and CJ Henderson and did trade a 3rd to move up in the draft for Corral. Darnold was obviously a horrible trade and Henderson/Corral are still somewhat TBD but not inspiring a ton of confidence so far.
  8. The Bills might not have invested in an "expensive" RB in terms of salary cap, but they clearly do value the running back position considering they've invested either a 2nd or a 3rd round pick in RBs in 3 of the last 4 drafts. That is pretty damn expensive in terms of draft capital.
  9. With Robbie Anderson traded, I've gotta imagine TMJ's snap count will increase dramatically. If not....then that's a pretty bad sign. I would disagree with inserting Cade Mays or any other o-lineman into the starting line-up just to evaluate them, since our o-line is playing so well as a unit. Elevating Mays to the top of the depth chart at Guard, I'm on board with. Maybe not at Center, as I'm still curious to see Bozeman in action although again not unless there's an injury or if Elflein becomes a liability. But the o-line is one unit I'm very wary about experimenting with unless there's a good reason. Point #3 sounds good but I just don't foresee a scenario where that will happen. Wilks has seemingly given us a glimpse of his philosophy in the Rams game (which is ULTRA conservative) and I don't see him doing a complete 180 unless Tepper has instructed him otherwise. I also don't think coaches particularly care about the entertainment value of the product they put on the field - they employ whatever game plan they think gives them the best chance to win, and sometimes that's just boring football. I truly don't understand watching the offensive product on the field this season under Baker and PJ and objecting so forcefully to the idea of even trying Sam Darnold under center. Our Darnold offense last year still outperformed whatever stinking heap of poo we've witnessed this year. That very well could be the McAdoo effect, but I can't imagine being like "NO DARNOLD AT ANY COST" and instead preferring to watch PJ throw screen passes all game en route to 3 points. Wilks clearly doesn't trust PJ enough to even pretend to throw a forward pass. No one is expecting Darnold to light it up, but our current offensive output is such a low bar that even a bust like Darnold has a chance to put up more points.
  10. You know things are getting bad when our ire starts trickling down to positional coaches. Usually those guys are largely an afterthought since they are such a small and immeasurable cog in the big picture of a season's success. We're gonna run out of people to blame soon.
  11. I like how someone got warned/banned for calling Mr. Scot an idiot, but if Mr. Scot does the same thing but in his usual carefully couched condescension (which happens virtually daily), then it's acceptable. If the rule is simply not to attack/insult people, then there should be zero difference in a post like this vs. explicitly calling someone an idiot.
  12. All the repetitive screen passes should be able to eventually bait the defense into opening up an opportunity for a long bomb. A good OC would be trying to capitalize on that, but I’m a bit skeptical about McAdoo.
  13. If the Giants win today I’ll be impressed, but so far they’re 4-1 by way of underwhelming one-score wins against bad teams: us, Bears, Titans, and Packers. Titans and Packers have winning records but they themselves look more like pretenders, barely scraping together wins against their own bad opponents. Based on what I’ve seen so far, if the Giants make it to the playoffs, I have a feeling they’re gonna be a one-and-done type of team. Which is still pretty impressive, but I think they’re a couple years away from potentially really making noise.
  14. I couldn’t care less how many rushing yards my QB musters up on a day where he puts up 7 points at home against a bad defense. Kind of a weird flex tbh.
  15. Yeah I still don't recall getting closure as far as how many of those were bad snaps vs. mishandles by Baker. I know someone posted one of them that was clearly a low snap in Shotgun, but also that PFF credited 4 of them to Baker and 1 of them to Elflein. Regardless, I think the snap mishaps were pretty much resolved after Game 1. I can only recall 1 fumbled snap since then, which I think was Week 2 or 3? I could be wrong. So I don't put a lot of weight into the fumbled snaps now that we're in Week 6, much like I don't put a lot of weight in Icky's struggles in the first few games when I think about the current state of our o-line.
  16. I'm all for upgrading the line-up at any position, Center included. I'd disagree however that Elflein has been a liability this season; I think he has played pretty well for the most part and is more a victim of his reputation rather than his performance on the field. It's tricky with o-line because that unit benefits immensely from continuity, so that's not a position you toy with later in the season if they've been performing well together, which I think most people would agree that they have. Unless there truly is a clear liability on that line, which I guess is where we disagree. But it's often not as simple as replacing a decent C with potentially a slightly better C and then seeing immediate improvement, especially with C being the most cerebral position who, as you pointed out, is tasked with calling protections.
  17. Bozeman is such a confusing case. He seems to be super highly touted not only on these boards, but by fairly reputable publications who had him rated highly in their list of top FAs in the offseason. But at the same time, money talks...and Bozeman was signed on a relatively dirt-cheap one-year deal that is consistent with more of a "prove it" type year. That contract does not exactly scream "above average young starter o-lineman".
  18. There has been a ton of chatter on these boards about so-and-so player only having a roster spot or a starting position because of Rhule favoritism, so I guess we'll find out soon if there is validity to that. I suspect people are going to be in for a rude awakening when there is relatively minimal change to the roster under Wilks.
  19. Cool. Anyway......back to PJ. If the only thing standing in the way of PJ throwing backbreaking goal-line interceptions is a healthy CMC, then that ain't exactly a glowing endorsement of the guy.
  20. You can't suggest Cam vultured PJ's TDs at the 2-yard-line while glossing over the fact that PJ's "2 really dumb throws" against the Lions were at exactly the same spot lol (okay okay, the Detroit 4-yard-line and 7-yard-line). For all we know, Cam coming in and scoring those TDs prevented some boneheaded PJ goal-line interceptions if we're judging off of empirical evidence. I know you've seen enough of this offense over the past few seasons to know that a Panthers "1st and Goal" type situation is far from a sure TD...maybe more like a 25% chance if we're being generous. Moving the ball all game long is well and good (and tbh a HUGE upgrade to what we've seen from this year's offense) but it doesn't mean much if you have a QB who throws terrible redzone interceptions. I mean, moving the ball between the 20s and stalling out in the red zone was the story of our 2020 season.
  21. I'm actually legit excited to see any QB not named Baker. Not that I'm expecting our offense to perform better necessarily, but I think it'll be an enlightening experience as to whether our offensive struggles are more of a Baker problem or a McAdoo problem. If we continue to take coverage sacks because receivers aren't getting open and we put up another dud offensively, I think that's pretty much the nail in the coffin for McAdoo. PJ came into the game last week and immediately looked much more decisive in throwing the football but obviously took a couple sacks too.
  22. Hey don't shoot the messenger, I was just quoting Rhule verbatim. I'm a pancake ally
  23. Gotcha...be careful, your data manipulation is starting to sound an awful lot like Matt Rhule at the podium with his "We statistically have the league's best defense if you count only prime number games where there was a full moon the night before and I had waffles (not pancakes) for breakfast".
