87 rode the pine as a rook and 89 couldn’t get a snap outside of st wr is a tough transition as most guys can only run a third of the route tree. A lot do that is dude to the gimmicky offenses colleges run nowadays. Anyone expecting xl to dominate in year 1 is setting themselves up for disappointment. He will prob provide more highlights in sound bytes than actual plays on the field.

This is the year we go from suck to blow.

Tepper paid over $2 Bs in cash for the team and we have fans questioning why he wants to be kept in the loop?

Walton is Walmart money and he owns the Broncos Harris owns the skins… Teppers worth is 3x that of Harris and the kicker is that most of it is liquid cash. Thats why he didn’t need an investment group… he stroked a check for over 2 Bs when he bought the panthers. That’s rare even for mega rich people.

The county owns the land the stadium sits on and leases it to the panthers. I think they just got a break on the property tax for the land (even tho the team doesnt own it they still paid taxes on it). Btwn that and the tether/accelerated payments for leaving, both sides have a decent amount of skin in the game. I dunno if you remember the hornets got the "new coliseum" on tyvola for $1 a year. But LOL at legislation at the national level... the last thing you want is the federal govt limiting the power of the states and local govt. C'mon now. I do agree that giving these rich owners public money is a crock of bullshish but this is how these things work in 2024. Maybe that'll change some day.

VBGB hotdog used to be the f-in bomb!! Prob still is.

Anyone saying this is being shoved down Charlottes throat is misinformed. A stadium deal was always on the horizon regardless of who owned the team. They have been working on this deal for a few years and the framework was agreed to after the renovation survey was complete. This deal is the opposite of the Rock Hill deal... Charlotte has the money. And no matter what if you deny the money to Tepper and run him out of town, we will just be back in the same position with another ownership group when they try to put a new franchise here. Im not for giving billionaires money, but this is the climate we live in. If you want pro sports its gonna cost the public money. I am happy Tepper is putting up half and tying his team to us for the foreseeable future.

He will still be a panther just not the incumbent starter.

We need more posts like this one. Real mind bending stuff.

We have not yet begun to defile ourselves.

With the Chargers cap being a mess the calculus was easy... Kennan is too old, Big Mike is expensive / injury prone and Eckler turned to dust before our eyes last season. You do all those thigs so you can keep Herbert, not trade him.

We ve had so many head coaches and interim head coaches it’s hard to keep up.

Is Corales the love baby of Matt Corral and Dave Canales?
