Dianna Russini/Chase Daniel Athletic podcast with Joe Person
CBDellinger replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
There was a mandate from upper management to write the stories a certain way / paint management and ownership in a glowing light... and it didnt jive with a lot of folks. -
maybe... but I hope not.

When Darrin Gantt retires I hope he writes a tell all book about his time working for the Teppers in Carolina.

Bill was so god at what he did... hate that the Teppers ran him off. This was def a Tepper decision... 100%. Nothing happens in Carolina without Dave and Nicoles blessing. The comment from Canales " a lot of parties involved" says it all. -
Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?
CBDellinger replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s insane that they make these kids play right away. It’s such a big jump from college to pros… and not just the game but in how they manage their lives off the field. Plus the teams that draft qbs high usually suck anyways. Give it a year and take the pressure off of everyone involved. -

I’d def be going stopgap vet at qb and trying to build the roster up in the draft. Take a swing on a rookie again in 2-3 years once the supporting cast is better. -
Nah man the d just sucks. We have players starting that wouldn’t make 31 other rosters.
-
nah this ish is depressing af, yo.
-
Yup, has to be right guy, right system, right coach... right situation all around. Cant just be a good player. All the parts have to fit.
-
booos? There were chants of "sell the team!" ringing out in the first friggin half, man. Def a Tepper decision... he cuts bait quickly. Just look at all the coach firings and front office execs that have left abrubtly. This was all him.
-
OK fair enough... just make sure you have plenty of booze on hand.
-
Dont get ur hopes up.

Marcus Spears comments on Bryce Young. Midway in video
CBDellinger replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
The get their numbers up thing? Players say that about every bad team every year. It just happens to be Carolina at this point in time. But they def think that way... how much is 2 more sacks worth to a DE in a contract year? Millions... -
Yes, the team will still be super-ass with Dalton at the helm. No doubt about it. The defense is so bad that the offense will to have to score 40 to have a shot at winning.

That Monday meeting with Tepp was prob awesome.
-
Amazing how this news break right about the time he wraps up the weekly Monday meeting with Tepper.
-
He can’t. Too much money at stake.

Jay Gruden on Bryce Young: He looks small and plays small
CBDellinger replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Rhule Fitts ad Tepp destroyed it in the years leading up to this trade. While the Bryce trade hurts and was certainly expensive it’s not what made the team blow for more than half of a friggin decade. Those doofs mismanaged the roster in every way possible. -

Dudes head is friggin large. I bet he hates hotel pillows with a passion… always brings his own. -
I’d buy flamethrower and stand outside the practice field roasting crash test dummies with underperforming players jerseys on them.
